People of CP, I ask you: How long has our site been down? How many hours have we been deprived of our precious stories and the comfort of the English language? I cannot say for you, but for me it has been a very trying 4 years, and for what reason?

IM's house is being painted! IM's house is getting new furniture! IM's getting shiny new cabinets? And what have we gotten in all this time? A few cookies? A drop of milk? Noooooooo! Those are for LATER! It's been 4 years (at least!)! When is it going to be time for those cookies and milk?

I like to think that the rest of you story time users are with me on this. We've been promised cookies and milk for too long. Therefore, I suggest we revolt! We will seize control of this, our Story Time home, and sell it to foreign interests in exchange for cookies and milk. The very same cookies and milk we have been denied.

If you agree, sign here to let IM know his tyranny will no longer be accepted. I'm getting hungry here, for crying out loud!

I haven't experienced any downtime of late either. But think of the cookies, man! The cookies!

The important part is that we're being threatened with downtime for IM's poofy-foofy-cushy luxuries, while we are refused basic cookies and milk. I do not even believe there are cookies and milk anymore. Look at the declaration this forum was founded on.

"It's that time again. Sit in a circle and share. The cookies and milk are for later."

It is a time now. We have sat in a circle and shared. And still, the cookies and milk are beyond the horizon. AGain, the downtown is not important. The cookies and milk are.
