Hi everyone 
I haven't really checked this forum in very long, but I registered and was using ohrrpgce / playing your games, beginning since 2004. I've never released a game but i'm working on my third rendition of one right now. Basically, the first was deleted, the remake was so slow in the making that my skills kinda outdated it before it materialized. The third rendition I started during my Christmas break of '06, and am still with this one right now. Up until about 1 month ago I had very little time with it, since I was wrapping up my post-secondary schooling (done now yay!). Actually, my course was a game programming course and I took it in part from having fun with production using this program!
I've gotten quite a lot done on my game in the past several weeks, now that I have more free time. Just wanted to say 'hey' to everyone here, and that i'll post up a demo of my game in several days.
Old school, 2D games that I find here rule. Looking forward to letting you play my game, and to playing yours! Later. |

I got lots of screenshots but i'll put up demo in 3 or 4 days anyways. Basically i'm just doing the last little script, then title graphic and having to go back and put sound FX in it... which is cool but finding the right FX is difficult. It's a fan-based game though, and demo length is probably around 2h30mins, or so, it's hard to actually play your own game at average pace 
I'll make a thread soon for when I put it up if you wanna check it out later. |
