I think getting a standard "Welcome toCP!"pm would be nice if set to all the newly regestered people, it'd explain the diffrent boards, journals how to post games, who the admins are, how the rating system works etc. Finding out things manually is always trying and would make CP seem much less bewildering...

As far as I know, Cube and Inferior Minion are the only actual Admins left. Maybe Setu as well. Maybe Shadowiii too.

As for Mods, I'm still the Art Forum Mod, although I think Orchard still has his powers, and if Misteroo ever got to urge to tinker with the engine again, he might still have his mod features enabled. I have no idea who is still actually active for the other forums though, since nobody posts. I'll get on that right away.

What would be cool is to have a run for office reelections. It'd be the ultimate contest and have the ultimate prize, board mod. Each board would have its own contest of strenth and the elcted winner owuld become the mod of that board.

In a word, no.

There are already several threads existing in which you can propose new mods. The reason nobody has been "elected" or given a position in a while is simply because (1) there's not enough activity in the community to justify new mods, and (2) We would end up with a moderator who would be voted in purely on popularity and not their actual ability to be a moderator, nor their maturity to make decisions that are fair and impartial.

Then why don't we have you and IM (Setu could be the tiebreaker) decide who wins instead? And the contest on each of the boards purpose would be to show who has the most maturity and blah blah blah.It'd just be somthing exiting to do. And if the mod sucks fire em'

EDIT: And turning this into "Who wants to be a Mod!?" game show is stupid too. If someone has the qualities of a mod, then make him a mod. Simple as that, except for the Inferior Minion not being around part.
