Back in September 2006, Orchard was working on a game (and he's gone MIA before it's been finished). I won't give away many details about it other than that it's another horror game, and he'd asked me to score it.

The soundtrack's been finished for some time, and now I'm figuring that one way or another, the MP3 soundtrack wouldn't be coming with the game anyway (just the MIDI versions), so I'm posting up the MP3 OST of the game "From Here to Neverwhere".

These pieces are set up to be short but loopable as I was requested to do. Now, mind you, this is just the MP3 renders of the original MIDI pieces that will be used in the game (because these MP3s wouldn't loop very well).

From Here to Neverwhere (the opening piece)

Pulse (an ambient BGM)

Memory (a reminiscing piece)

The Dark (Creepy ambience; inspired by music from "Saw")

Can He See Me (You are hiding from the killer; MIDI version has inserted footsteps)

Lurking Evil (Eerie Disturbing Ambience; modeled after music style of Silent Hill)

Drones (Ambience; MIDI version set up to be layered like in Project C and Pitch Black 2; This was composed before "Saw III" came out, and that movie had a similar piano move as this piece)

Unholy Findings (You find something disturbing and/or shocking)

Pursued by a Madman (The killer finds you and you have to run for your life)

Standoff (You confront the killer in a cat-mouse situation)

The Nightmare is Over (Ending piece)

I have work tomorrow, so I've only listened to "neverwhere"

all I have to say is... nice.

Oh and feel free to run Drendaloria through Nuendo any time. (Was that the program?) Razz

I have nuendo 2, but I'm pretty sure I need samples up the ying-yang. And those, I do not have.

[ok, never mind, I ended up listening to all of it. Good stuff.]

Thanks, Bena.

If you have Nuendo 2 (that's what I have), then you just need the right VSTi's. I'd send you some of the ones I have, but they're fairly large in size.

How large? Haha. I'm interested in doing this, perhaps you can tell me how else I can get a hold of them.

Like in the range of 300MB+.

I mean, if you want, I can see if I can mail you a CD with them on it (although finding the time to go to the post office can be tricky).

When will the game come out? I would love another OHr-game that would scare the hell out of me.

I have no idea. I talked to Orchy some time ago when he'd moved back to Indonesia, but since then I haven't heard from him. He mentioned that his game making was moving at a much slower pace now that he was back home.

I have no idea when or if it will come out.

Bena: PM me with an address and I'll try to get that done.

It'll be quite a waste if it doesn't. Your MIDI pieces rock, by the way... don't want to see them go to waste, too..
