I would also suggest cleaning up the language a bit. HOWTOs are much easier to follow when sentences are clearly written and use proper grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc. There's a lot of run ons, and these are usually places where you need to elaborate.

| Yes, there is another existing howto for the OHR, but unless I'm mistaken it is terribly outdated and incompleted. That's why I decided to start work on my own howto. You should keep working on it, Chaotix. The community can always accept more help. |

Maybe so, Valigar, but it's sufficient to at least pick up the fundamentals of the program.
Lyhn: While I agree that PHC was too harsh with Chaotix, please don't fuel the fire. Starting and fueling flame wars is a nice ticket to a ban.

The ROM site link has been discontinued for quite some time now. I just have not got around to getting rid of it.

It is not illegal to MAKE and own ROMS as long as you own the original. They are considered to be backup copies, and are NOT illegal to own and use under this condition.
Hell, you can own a totally destroyed old mario game, and still legally own ROMs.
ISOs,(Coppied of CD-ROM games,) are infact fully illegal, and are never allowed to be owned. I do NOT support piracy, and I do not own any ISOs. Like I said, I no longer support that link.
And at last I say, If you don't like the fact of piracy, don't do it, AND GET THE FUCK OVER IT!

ISOs, like ROMS, are perfectly legal to have if you own the original disc, under the "Fair Use" part of copyright law. (Although the RIAA and related mafias organizations would love to change that) |
