I just wanted to say that unlike most "newbies" i'm actually good.
I have spend some time familarising myself with the ohr for quite some
time now, and I feel it's time to let loose my first real game.

It's called "biobots" (don't laugh) and is fairly good so far.
I have tonnes of fresh ideas and have nobody to share them with.
any takers?

Well... the graphics aren't really all that good. Plenty of the tiles have no texture whatsoever, some are only one color, and a lot of 'em are just gradient style. The car looked pretty good at first glance, but that's just 'cuz the screenshot wasn't full screen (like it would be if you were playing it. Looking at it closer, you see it's 3-D on the right and 2-D on the left. The walkabout graphics were so-so. The one thing I did like was some of the smaller, more detailed objects, like the computer and several of the guns in the gunshop.

firstly, Setu_Firestorm,

I wrote that poll to draw people in, I'm not the small minded
'homersimpsonised' fool you think I am. How many people would have
actually considered looking here, had I not acted so boastful?
Besides I didn't exactly post at this forum to make friends with anybody.
Make your own judgements when you see the final version, not when
somebody starts boasting, sure it's tempting but who gets the last laugh?

Next, for those of you who are having problems with my site loading it
is purely because of the HUGE gifs and animated gifs (some with over
200 frames long!) Don't panic, Most of them will be removed in time.
The site is quite old, and was constructed back in the days when I could
hardly tell one file format from an other. But fear not, these things take
time.

And finally, those screenshots again. My (intergalactic) passport was
renewed earlier than expected, so I'm going on holidays slightly earlier
too. I'll show them, I PROMISE! within 12 days! But, one more thing,
my game has developed little in terms of gameplay so the screen shots
you see won't nessisarily reflect the finished game, just my graphical
ability.

Btw, my ridiculous poll seems to be turning out ok. Considering that only
one answer is barely positive. Perhaps not all of you judge on first
impressions.

Those screenshots you saw, Blazes Battles Inc. were from my VERY
first game and not my latest one. You wanna here my opinion on them?
They're absolutely CRAP! But come to think of it, maybe not that bad
since many people made their first game by messing around with the
sample.rpg Admit it! some of you out there couldn't resist messing around
with those smiling little spheres. Even James Paige admited to having
some smiley fever when making it!

For those of you who don't know I'll have the REAL ones up in 12 days
time. But don't think i'll disappear, oh no! I'll find net access somehow
and reply til the cows come home.

When I come back i'll lay off being boastful and everybody can just get
along! *cough!* *cough!* help! I'm choking on my own sarcasim!

Hmmmm......That's okay, Mr.firestorm i'll forget the undersized homer
simpson brain image if you will. I have met my fair share of jerks in such
places, and i'm glad your not one of them (yet!)

that out the way, have some points to mention:
