'Template:WIP'

Yeah, but it's mostly there because some people use multiple master palettes, and it's not difficult to have builtin support. Note that there are plans to give all sprites individual palettes in the future. And it won't be through this master palette menu.

256 of course. Otherwise there'd be no point.

..anyway,so is the multiple master palette feature functional?can i use different master palettes on different backdrops and they will appear normally in game.exe, even with different master palettes? What?!?!

Multiple master palettes work. But it's not finished yet - you can't switch palettes ingame, for example. I'm not sure if I'll add a field to the textbox appearance menu to switch palettes for a backdrop anyway. The focus is on plotscripting here.

No way, the individual palettes feature is a long way in the future, if it ever happens at all. My estimate is a minimum 3 OHR versions from now. You already know what's in the next release.
