There's all sorts of ways to target an attack- spread, focus etc.

But... what does the "First target" option do?

It's supposed to target the enemy in the first slot that has an enemy or the hero in the first slot that has a hero. I think it works for attacking enemies, but it has never worked for targeting the first hero.

The developers are cleaning up the battle code, so hopefully this'll be fixed sometime.

I remember when there was a bug that the enemies would only go for the first hero. (or was it always the weakest one?)

Made playing Memoria hard as all get out.

Unless it's been fixed recently, it doesn't work for enemies either (at least not for me). It's on the buglist I think.
