It's the exact same problem as .mp3 to .mid.
There are programs out there that can convert wav to midi to a certain degree, but don't expect quality of the song to remain. |

The only real way to do it is by ear. Those programs that claim that they can do it tend to only be able to do monophonic lines, if they can even do that. DO NOT shell out any money for anything like that, or you'll have weeping pockets. _________________ Calehay |

I used to have a decent one, note-wise, but it totally crashed the rhythms, I'm sorry but I'll have to go with Calehay on this one : find someone (or yourself) to do it by ear. Its also an excellent practice to start making midi music by the way |

*laugh* That is my dog, Ruby. Since that picture was taken, I have held an intervention, and she attends weekly meetings of the ADA (Alchoholic Dogs Anonymous) at the Beacon Hill Dog Park. She has been clean and sober for two and a half months now, and couldn't be happier.
Now if I could just figure out how to get the dang cat to stop smoking catnip. |
