Actually, no. I don't think it's a good idea to bring that up. I understand what you mean by popularity, since you think a lot of mods in the past did it to gain popularity and status, and some definitely abused the powers given to them.

For Gizmog, I'm sure he is out to get the position for the power that comes with it, though I could see that he does indeed have the heart to moderate and establish order.
