Or maybe the Meteor (CPs mascot) or Maybe the Bob...yeah The Bob.

I just think there should be an annual big awards show for the biggest and best games and the winners can be put in a hall of fame type page.

And I want cooler smilies.

We already have the annual top 30 voting, which is basically the same.

Not just top 30. I'm talking full annual awards.

EX:

Most innovative idea

Best new Hero

Best new Villian

Best supporting roles.

Best Graphics/Design.

Best Gameplay

Best new director (creator)

etc.

And we should have a link on the main page to the hall of fame! Not just a simple top 30.

I think there was something like that before. I don't know if we still do that, but it'd be good to do that with several nominiees and more than just the best (1st - 3rd).

Actually, I'm not planning on running the top 30 again, so we don't currently have any awards programs. Granted, there haven't been that many releases in the past six months or so that would merit any change in community opinion.

If anyone wants to run a top 30, by all means, go ahead. I doubt it will be interesting.

You're not? Thats a real pity. I thought they were overdue.

But you may be right... There haven't been many releases since the last vote, a longer than 3 month wait might be justified. I don't want to see them dead though.

Has nobody ever heard of the OHRlympics?

Oh my god, I totally forgot about that... -o-;; I think after some more game releases, we should have a go at the top 30 and something like the OHRlympics. I'd definitely participate if we do.

Sweet. We should start this up again. I'll help but I think (know) the project will go alot smoother with someone CP trust & whos knows how OHRlympics works.

JSH its a shame yo. First E3 goes under now this.

Fight Back! Don't let all the signs of the OHR Apocalypse come true! IT WAS FORETOLD http://bsohr.castleparadox.com/article1.php

This would be a waste of time. The OHRlympics were from a time when a huge number of people were pumping out a steady number of OHR games. The number of even half decent games released every month now is one or less.

I miss those days. I wasn't around though, during the time of the decline, so I don't know what exactly happened.

You guys are depressing.

So we need fresh meat for the OHR grinder. Why don't we start a campaign to conquer the internet...er...RPG Maker. We loot and pillage all the websites we can get our hands on until all roads lead to Rome...er...CastleParadox.

The sane version of the above speech=Why don't we spread the good news around high traffic internet sites?

The chances of us getting skilled game creators or people with potential is less likely than the chance of it causing swarms of annoying irritating newbies who would just cause the community to plunge, possibly to the level of the Runescape community. If we want to advertise CP more, we would want to target only certain targets.

No, spamming internet forums will NOT bring more creative people. It will make this place even worse.

I suppose we could just have one every two years or so.
