Alphasix is a playable character from the start. Was there a mistake or something? |

Oh? I'll have to check that out. Thanks for the tip. It's possible I forgot to set her back to hidden in the ini file. _________________ Tower Defense Game |

You're right, and I just fixed it by uploading a new version. Thanks!
So, do you like the game? _________________ Tower Defense Game |

Haven't tried it yet, but it looks cool.
You know, everyone who's used the Game Maker seems to really like it. But I couldn't stand it. WEIRD1 |

The controls are a little awkward, but the game's fantastic. Just how does Orchard find the time to do everything? |

The controls can be reconfigured from the main menu. I like the WASD controls, myself.
Disabling bullet curtain also disables dodging.
I'd really like to see support for internet games :/

It loads up and immediately crashes out with the extremely helpful error message "An unexpected error occurred." (Windows XP SP 2) |

One thing I've noticed about GameMaker is I couldn't get it to run higher than 800x600 (or 1024x768, I forget). Higher screen resolutions would cause it to crash for no apparent reason. _________________

Camdog, try going into the Alphasix.ini file and changing this line
"Set Resolution=0.99999998430675"
to this
"Set Resolution=0"
And see if that helps. This will cause the game to run in your current resolution rather than trying to set it to 640x480 resolution. _________________ Tower Defense Game |

Nope, I still get the crash.
As an aside, why all the lengthy decimal numbers in the .ini file? It looks like it's filled with floating-point errors. |
