Hi guys. Havent posted in a while. Got some 3D stuff I wanted to show.

http://serpentcross.castleparadox.com/picdump/meteor_compressed.avi

DivX format, 6 MB

Its Meteor, the familiar mascot of CP, done with Blender 2.41. This is my final project for my 3D Character and Animation course. Theres a lot of things wrong that Im pretty aware of, but still would like to show it to you folks. C&Q appreciated.

The intro where it's rapidly cutting between the two shots is really annoying to watch. The rest is good though, her motions are a bit weird but she looks pretty cool in all the armor.

Hmmm, interesting, I'm guessing you used Blender right? Anyways, it's good but I agree with the back and forth thing in the start, and the arms when she was spell casting was alittle off, but I thought it was good and I understand how hard it is to make 3D movie things, (I have blender and I can't even do anything, I don't want to read all the tutorials ^_^Wink Keep up the good work!

Lets see...
Her movement really needs improvement, looks too stiff.
Her hair kinda look like a wig, especially when you look at her from behind when she is jumping.

The movie itself looks kinda cool I guess, better then what I can do.

The model needs some work thats for sure, the texture is too plastic-like.

All in all, she looks better in 2d then 3d.

I have to hand it to you, Veld. I had tried using Blender before, and it's a very hard program to work with. I imagine the possibilities are limitless with it, but it's just so damned technical that it's hard to get a hold of.

I've used Wings3D once, but now I'm starting to mess around with Hash Animation Master.
