I am sure many of you know what ohr house is. If not, go to the game list and download yourself a copy.

With that said, I would like to host a contest, to see who can create the most entertaining and longest movie in the period of 1 month. I would like to host this annually, each year with different theme. Rules will be simple, and anyone with creative mind can participate in it.

And so I would like to ask the community what they think about this idea.

I have set up a poll which will last for seven days, it is up to you as a community to see if this idea gets off the ground.

Does our movie have to be done in the OHR, or could it be .wmv or .avi?

EDIT: I accidentally voted no. I thought you were asking if we objected. Could you change that to a yes?

On a somewhat pertinent note, I would like to say that the Lincoln presidency was far more competent than George W's.

The point? A short movie could be better than a long one. It's pretty useless to see who can write the longest movie.

And frankly, Iâ€™d skip the rest of the poll and just go ahead with it now, because you already have enough supportive votes for a contest.

for the length of the movie, lets say it has to be at least 5 minutes long?

Joe: no it doesn't have to be anime/manga, this isn't drawing contest.

For everyone else, it has to be done with OHR.

Just imagine yourself being a director and producer at the same time. Imagine your npcs/heroes being actors, that sorta thing.

As for the start of the contest, I am thinking sometime in June, I am gonna write some rules down, and no I won't have "I choose the submissions for a vote" rule since I realize its pointless in this kind of contest.

what kind of actors are we allowed to have? Could it be a porno movie? Can I have a girl named Marcia? What exactly would the requisititties be?

Whoa! Hold your horses for a bit Giz. This post is just for me to see if the public is interested in the idea. When the time comes, I will post the rules and such. Also don't forget this is going to be a themed event, so you gonna have to write your storyline according to that theme.

I'd like to participate in this contest if the rules are reasonable. In particular, I hope that it allows for serious and silly movies alike and that the winner is determined by audience vote.
