'Ello 'ello, my fellow CP members.
Good news: Should everything go according to plan, I will be releasing F l i c k e r to the public this Friday, February 10th, or this saturday, February 11.
The initial release will not be in midi format. I will add it if it proves necessary; otherwise, I prefer the quality of the .mp3.
As a secondary note, Flicker's story will accompany the music as planned, in half-poetry form. This form proved to be the best way to go, as it doesn't distract from the music, and vice-versa.
Well, that's it for now, enjoy the rest of your week,
Bena

I'm excited.
How big is the mp3? Considering I use dial-up, I should tell you the midi, but if it really destroys your intentions, you should only release the mp3.
I mean, you want your work to be displayed the way you envisioned it, right? Why let the guillotine that is known as MIDI behead it? _________________ Calehay |

Do both, Jesus Beans. Release it in mid for the 56k crowd, release it in MP3 for anyone who cares about the music. And poetry? You homo. |

Ok, anyway... the mp3 is about 30 megs. I think it would be wiser to include the midi version, despite my feelings against it. However, to keep some of the quality I have in mind intact for a while, I will delay the midi release for a few days after the mp3 release. My apologies for the inconvenience,

Good points... Since it's a tie, maybe you should do both. Win/win, baby. _________________ Planning Project Blood Summons, an MMORPG which will incinerate all of the others with it's sheer brilliance...

Yes indeed, Flicker is later than expected, but not so much because of unfinished work, but mostly because I never really considered the trouble it would be getting 27mb up for download.
But not to fear!
Should it be too difficult to get the mp3 up by the end of today (sunday), I will release the midi version, and then the mp3 version when possible.
Until then,
