You could buy one of those tablet things that hook into your computer if you are too uncomfortable with the mouse. _________________ Yo. |

Start at the beginning and finish at the end...
There is no wrong way to draw with a mouse. There is only your way = the way you think is best. Clean is hard to obtain and takes months or even years of practice. Most people just skip right to buying a graphic tablet. A graphic tablet is a handy tool that can be purchased in any electronic store and maybe office supply store. It's more-or-less the equivilent to using pen on paper; only on the computer. _________________ Planning Project Blood Summons, an MMORPG which will incinerate all of the others with it's sheer brilliance...

You could get a tablet.. but good ones usually go for anywhere around 200 to 500 dollars. Unless you want to spend the money, then just practice with it. Start small and slow with your drawings and then just work your way up. _________________

Decent ones can be bought for 50 dollars where I live...
Maybe they are more expensive where people have money. _________________ Planning Project Blood Summons, an MMORPG which will incinerate all of the others with it's sheer brilliance...

...but if you're set on paying $500, you could get a touch screen moniter. _________________ "Everyone has 200,000 bad drawings in them, the sooner you get them out the better."

Using a grafic palette seems to be a good idea. It appears that many people find it useful compared to the mouse.
Does many poeple use tileset to make their backgrounds ?
Thanks for the suggestions! |

Oups!
I meant of course using a grafic tablet seems to be a good idea
I already have one at home but my sister use it. I think I will start to try to install it this afternoon.
It seems that the only way to get use to draw with the mouse is to draw with it just like we do with a pen. Strangely, enough I have no problems to draw under custom whereas we use the mouse.
What do you think of using tileset to draw backdrops ?
Anyway feel free to post further suggestions
