Have fun. Post it either here or in your blog if you have one.

Credit to Rinku for modifying a ZZT survey for this purpose.

You can tell how bored I am by the fact that I actually formatted this for some reason.

Nickname: Iblis
How long have you been OHRing?: First started around January 1999 (under a different name), but after a year or so stopped and then started back up mid 2003.
How long have you been active in the community?: Was hardly active in it the first time, and I've been around on CP for close to 2 years now.
How did you discover OHR?: I believe I was searching for info on FFT when the OHR somehow crept into my results.
Do you regret it?: No, why would I?

What's more important?
OHR or Community?: The OHR, but I think most don't understand just how incredibly awesome the OHR community is. When you have a community this close and relatively small, the games become much more personal. If it wasn't for the community we wouldn't have some of the best OHR games there are.
Graphics or Fun-factor?: Fun-factor, which will be higher if you have better graphics.
Story or Gameplay?: Gameplay.
Atmosphere or Prettiness?: Atmosphere. Prettiness is superficial, atmosphere tells you something about the game.
Sleeping or Finishing a Game?: I'm pretty sure I need sleep to live. But, if I was just on the verge of completing a game, I don't imagine I'd be able to get much sleep, so I'd just finish it. Then I'd sleep.
Winning 48 hour contests or Human Day Contest?: 48 hour.
A Good Opening or A Good Ending?: Even if you have both of those, your game is going to suck if the middle isn't any good.
Beta Testing or Hype?: Easy, use your beta testers to help create hype.
Innovation or Execution?: In general, execution. But personally I like seeing innovation more. Not only does it give me ideas, but I just enjoy seeing an innovative idea. Really, this is an indie game design community. We have the freedom to be as innovative as we want, I think that's pretty exciting.
Original Colors or custom palette: Whichever is better for the particular game.
Making games or Playing games?: I believe it was CN who said "All work and no play makes your games suck."
Winning awards or Making good games?: Both, ideally.
Positive Feedback or Constructive Criticism?: CC is useful, but PF is enjoyable.
Newbies or Oldbies?: I don't care. Anybody who isn't outrageously stupid.

In the OHR Community, who is the _____?
Happiest?: As I have no knowledge of the happiness of others, I will say myself. I'm pretty happy most of the time.
Funniest?: PHC or Poptart.
Friendliest?: Probably Moogle1.
Sexiest?: Haven't seen that many.
Smartest?: Don't really know.
Strangest?: Rinku
Angstiest?: Redmage, AdrianX or Joe Man
Oldest?: Fuck if I know.
Youngest?: Fuck if I know.
Most Reliable?: Rinku Probably Shadowiii
Easiest to Talk To?: Don't really talk to any of them, but again probably Moogle1.
Do you know in real life?: None
Person(s) you wish you could see/meet in real life?: Too many to list, really.

OHRing and You...
What OHR games have you made?: ...I don't talk about that. It's on the gamelist, if you absolutely must see it.
What is your favorite of them?: You're kidding, right?
Any games you're working on right now?: Yes, two. In addition I have an idea for the next TGC that I'm working on in my mind. As none are anywhere near completion, it's my policy to not say the names or anything about them.
Are you a Newbie, Midbie, Oldbie, God of OHR?: Those are stupid categories.
How many games have you cancelled?: Hmmm... six I believe. Heh, I'm going to list their titles even though all of them are embarassingly bad. Realm of the Magi (I did in fact make this before I ever heard of Land/Realm of the Mystics), Dreamscape, Outer Force, Faction, Skyborn, and Diva. I will be mortified if anyone here ever played those.
Any that you wish you could retry?: No, all my cancelled games should stay that way. Thankfully I'm confident the files no longer exist on any computer. At least, they had better not.
What Genre do you find easiest to work with in OHR?: Semi-traditional RPG. If it's just an FF4 clone there's no way I'd be able to stay interested enough to finish it (all the cancelled games I listed above had that problem).
What awards have you won...if any?: Ha.
What are your favorite OHR games?: Thanksgiving Quest, OHR House, and any of the Walthrus games.
Who are your favorite OHR authors?: JSH, PHC, and I guess Shadowiii.
What is your favorite OHR Genre?: Good games.
What OHR author did/do you aspire to be?: JSH I guess, except more gameplay and less humor cause I'm not as funny.
What has influenced your OHRing?: All of the things I experience. Mainly other OHR games though.
What are your strong points in OHRing?: Ideas, battle design, music selection and editting, walkabout and maptile graphics, and font/icon making (for some odd reason I like making fonts, I dunno why).
What are your weak points?: Actually doing the work, mostly. I can at least passably do everything aside from composing music, it's just hard to actual get to work.

What makes a game Good?: Skill, hard work, and creativity.

What makes a game Bad?: Inexperience, laziness, and bland ideas.

If you could only play one more OHR game what would it be?: A good, complete game made by me.

If James Paige were to try his hand at OHRing again [and create a new OHR game], how good of a OHRer would he be?: Pretty good, I'd imagine. Maybe not the best, but I'd quite like to see it happen.

OHR All-Time Awards:
Best Graphics: I dunno. Something by Fen.
Best Gameplay: TQ
Best Music: OHR House
Best Story: This amuses me.
Best Programming: I'm not good at judging that kind of thing.
Most Surprising: Crescent Dream. Whatever you may think of it, you know you didn't expect some nobody to suddenly burst into the community with this.
Weirdest: Probably something from the very first TGC (not Fen's)
Worst: See above.
Best RPG: TQ
Best Dungeon Type Game: What?
Best Action: What?
Best Adventure: What?
Most Innovative: SWM: War of the Food
Most Important: Arfenhouse
Best Puzzle: None that I remember.
Best 48 Hour Game: I've hardly played any of these.
Best Overall: TQ
Best OHRer of All Time: PHC. I like some of JSH's stuff better but PHC just makes so much, and it seems there's no limit to what he'll try.

Final Questions:
Where do you see yourself in the OHR Community right now?: "That guy that doesn't seem to make games but still posts about stuff."
Where do you see yourself in the history of OHR game making right now?: Not there, really. I would hope that I show up somewhere in the future of OHR game making.
If the OHR Community could remember you as anything, what would it be?: Innovative.
Final Remarks?: I filled this out instead of studying. Oops.

Nickname: T-Master, Zhuge Brett
How long have you been OHRing?: Since the very beginning.
How long have you been active in the community?: For as long as I can remember.
How did you discover OHR?: "game maker" on altavista search.
Do you regret it?: I have some regrets.

What's more important?
OHR or Community?: The OHR, because the community isn't worth much anymore.
Graphics or Fun-factor?: Graphics, because most OHR games aren't fun anyways, so at least there's something to look at.
Story or Gameplay?: If I wanted a good story I'd read a book.
Atmosphere or Prettiness?: Atmosphere. Prettiness is superficial, atmosphere tells you something about the game.
Sleeping or Finishing a Game?: I wouldn't lose sleep over something as silly as a game.
Winning 48 hour contests or Human Day Contest?: 48 hour cause the games that come out of those are excellent calibre.
A Good Opening or A Good Ending?: Yes I agree, I should make one part of my game good and the rest bad.
Beta Testing or Hype?: Hype, look at SoJ2.
Innovation or Execution?: Innovation, what OHR game is complete without a terrible homemade battlesystem with subpar attack animations and innumerable bugs.
Original Colors or custom palette: Custom palette, see above.
Making games or Playing games?: Playing games, though preferably not OHR games.
Winning awards or Making good games?: Winning awards, isn't that the point?
Positive Feedback or Constructive Criticism?: PF, I don't need criticism.
Newbies or Oldbies?: There's no distinction anymore, everyone thinks they're a veteran.

In the OHR Community, who is the _____?
Happiest?: Everyone's happy, because we all make good games.
Funniest?: Select mods for doing an awesome job.
Friendliest?: Rya for having the lowest standards.
Sexiest?: Lucier, though plz don't arrest me.
Smartest?: Rinku, not Gilbert!
Strangest?: Hansi, MEAN!
Angstiest?: Jazz Man when he's single.
Oldest?: *EDITED BECAUSE RINKU ADMITS HE'S YOUNG AND KNOWS NOTHING* Dr Greg
Youngest?: I don't know.
Subjective?: Artimus Bena
Most Reliable?: Tantalus Spade/Retro
Easiest to Talk To?: Silent Angel is very easy to talk to and get along with.
Do you know in real life?: Scyree
Person(s) you wish you could see/meet in real life?: None of you.

OHRing and You...
What OHR games have you made?: Seizure Inducer!
What is your favorite of them?: :SSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Any games you're working on right now?: No, why would I want to?
Are you a Newbie, Midbie, Oldbie, God of OHR?: I've been here in the golden age, now you can try to eke out an existence with what's left. That should answer adequately!
How many games have you cancelled?: I don't cancel games, they cancel themselves.
Any that you wish you could retry?: No, got bored of them.
What Genre do you find easiest to work with in OHR?: I FIND IT EASIEST TO MAKE AN FPS IN THE OHR BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT IT WAS DESIGNED FOR. OH BTW CHECK OUT MY LAGGY 800MB RPG FILE WITH DEMO 3D BATTLE SYSTEM.
What awards have you won...if any?: Runner up for OHRer of the year, beaten out by Giz.
What are your favorite OHR games?: I Made Dis, because it's short.
Who are your favorite OHR authors?: FyreWulff, I like someone who is consistent.
What is your favorite OHR Genre?: RPG w\custom battle systems!
What OHR author did/do you aspire to be?: Out of the question to have your own aspirations?
What has influenced your OHRing?: I'm rather influenced by whatever game or anime is trendy at the moment. So if I'm watching full metal alchemist I might be inclined to make a fan game, or if I'm playing ff4, I might be inclined to remake my game in its image.
What are your strong/weak points in OHRing?: I am really good at story and design, but I can't do music or graphics. Someone please "help" me make a game!

What makes a game Good?: A game is good if it's popular.
What makes a game Bad?: A game is bad if no one likes it.

If you could only play one more OHR game what would it be?: Mormon Mission

If James Paige were to try his hand at OHRing again [and create a new OHR game], how good of a OHRer would he be?: Terrible, obviously.

OHR All-Time Awards:
Best Graphics: Royal/Steve - RMS Represent
Best Gameplay: Rinku!
Best Music: Setu's
Best Story: Habla no Ingles
Best Programming: Something Moogle or TSpade did.
Most Surprising: arfenhouse - yay this is best game ever!
Weirdest: anything submitted to OOHR (every game)
Worst: FFH, why are remixes popular? IDEA ZOMBIE.
Best RPG: Time Flies!
Best Dungeon Type Game: [blanked out]
Best Action: Whoever was making that FPS game years ago
Best Adventure: Happy Pappy in the Land of Crappy
Most Innovative: [blanked out]
Most Important: SoJ2
Best Puzzle: Sheep Rancher
Best 48 Hour Game: None exist.
Best Overall: Ralfo's Mansion
Best OHRer of All Time: I don't know, it's a tie between anonymous OHRer who's really not important 1 and anonymous OHRer who's really not important 2.

Final Questions:
Where do you see yourself in the OHR Community right now?: IRC Junkie.
Where do you see yourself in the history of OHR game making right now?: Nowhere, a blip on the radar.
If the OHR Community could remember you as anything, what would it be?: T-Master.
Final Remarks?: Plz!

Nickname: RedMaverickZero (RMZ)
How long have you been OHRing?: Since 2000.
How long have you been active in the commune?: Since July of 2003.
How did you discover OHR?: A friend gave me a copy at school.
Do you regret it?: Yes and no.

What's more important?
OHR or Commune Community?: OHR hands down. The community gives back up help, but without ohr there would be no need for the community.
Graphics or Fun-factor?: Both.
Story or Gameplay?: Both.
Atmosphere or Prettiness?: Both.
Sleeping or Finishing a Game?: Both in moderation.
Winning 24hozzt [OHR translation: 48 hour contests] or GotM [OHR translation: Human Day Contest]?: 48 hour contest.
A Good Opening or A Good Ending?: an opening can make or break a game. So Opening.
Beta Testing or Hype?: Beta testing.
Innovation or Execution?: Execution.
Original Colors or S-T-K? [OHR translation: custom palette]: I personally haven't used a custom palette. So I'd say with Original Colors.
Making games or Playing games?: Making.
Winning awards or Making good games?: Making good games to win awards.
Positive Feedback or Constructive Criticism?: Both, however the second ends up being harsh the majority of the time.
Newbies or Oldbies?: Newbies. Because they are young and want to learn more about the engine. Unlike Oldbies who sit around and criticize everyone.

In the OHR Community, who is the _____?
Happiest?: LeRoy
Funniest?: PHC
Friendliest?: James
Sexiest?: the majority of the community is male! But if I had to pick, Lucier. Since she's a fairly pretty girl. One of the only ones.
Smartest?: tie between Worthy and Moogle
Strangest?: Gizmog
Angstiest?: Uncommon
Oldest?: Fenrir is the oldest that I can think of. Or PepsiRanger.
Youngest?: Wiz was 13 wasn't he?
Most Reliable?: Worthy
Easiest to Talk To?: Worthy and Fenrir
Do you know in real life?: BenJi
Person(s) you wish you could see/meet in real life?: Worthy, Fenrir, ChaosNyte, MamoruBlu, Leroy, Setu Firestorm,

OHRing and You...
What OHR games have you made?:
Mr.Triangle's Adventure
Mr.Triangle's Adventure 2
Mr.Triangle's Adventure 3
Mr.Triangle's Adventure 4
Mr.Triangle's Adventure 5
Mr.Triangle's Maze Madness
Mr.Triangle's Battle Royale
Halloween Quest
Halloween Quest 2
The Parole Officer
SmokeyMcGoo's Grand Adventure
Gargan and Troy
What is your favorite of them?: Gargan and Troy
Any games you're working on right now?: Mr.Triangle's Adventure
Are you a Newbie, Midbie, Oldbie, God of OHR?: Midbie
How many games have you cancelled?: A LOT
Any that you wish you could retry?: Cargo Ship 29, but I don't have a ton of time on my hands anymore like I did a few months back.
What Genre do you find easiest to work with in OHR?: Traditional RPG.
What awards have you won...if any?: 2nd Place in Halloween Contest 2003, and 2nd Place in 48 Hour Contest 2004.
What are your favorite OHR games?: Walthros, OHR House, The Seventh Day, and a fair amount of my own.
Who are your favorite OHR authors?: PHC (when the games aren't jokes), JSH, Shadowiii, myself
What is your favorite OHR Genre?: I don't have one. I love mixing it around.
What OHR author did/do you aspire to be?: Probally Shadowiii.
What has influenced your OHRing?: Seeing other people's work.
What are your strong points in OHRing?: Graphics, and I'm trying on the weaker areas.
What are your weak points?: Programming, story, dialogue

What makes a game Good?: When the author stays with the game all the way to the end. And has the same dedication he/she put in it at the starting point. Dedication can make a game wonderful, even if the subject is a lil rusty.

What makes a game Bad?: When the author doesn't make what they want. Because it's YOUR game, not the audience's.

If you could only play one more OHR game what would it be?: OHR House 2

If James Paige were to try his hand at OHRing again [and create a new OHR game], how good of a OHRer would he be?: He made the engine, how can it possibly get better than that?

OHR All-Time Awards:
Best Graphics: Timestream Saga Second Edition
Best Gameplay: Thanksgiving Quest
Best Music: OHR House
Best Story: Halloween Quest 2 (could have been told better though)
Best Programming: Trailblazers
Most Surprising: OHR Date
Weirdest: Walthrus ROTC
Worst: there is a lot. It's hard to choose, really it is.
Best RPG: Walthros
Best Dungeon Type Game: There is one?
Best Action: Trailblazers
Best Adventure: Seventh Day
Most Innovative: Hard to say.
Most Important: Magisteral I hate to say it, but FFH. It's like the FF7 of the OHR.
Best Puzzle: Sheep Rancher
Best 24hozzt [48 Hour] Game: The Fox and the 8-6, it really did have a lot of good stuff.
Best Overall: OHR House (it had such a big turn out)
Best OHRer of All Time: James, but that's a give away. Shadowiii is very good because of his variety in which he makes games. The only time he made a game similar to another (that was serious) was PB2. Every other game has been entirely different.

Final Questions:
Where do you see yourself in the OHR Commune right now?: Way too busy with life.
Where do you see yourself in the history of OHR game making right now?: Bigger projects, longer times til completion.
If the OHR Commune could remember you as anything, what would it be?: That one guy who made Mr.Triangle and vigorouslly worked on a game for 8 straight months (HQ2).
