I'll be honest and admit that not all of them are really that good, but some of them turned out nice. I sketched all of them by hand and colored them in PhotoShop. They're all at the 100 x 100 pixel mount.

Quite good as far as consistancy is concerned. You just have a little difficulty with some shading aspects. For instance; their hair in behind the head would be darker than the hair on top and in front on their heads. I especialy liked the last avatar. I want hair like that! XD

Ya know what, though? I screwed up Yukari, `cause she's a female character, and I unintentionally wound up with a male shaped head. Since I drew all of them on the same paper, though, I couldn't erase it AGAIN without dealing with graphite smudge issues.

Don't you just HATE that? Of course, I am right in assuming that what you meant by graphite smudges is the outline left from the pencil even after you erased the face and remade it? Or do you mean when your hand smudges the graphite just a little over the paper, making the picture look dirty.

I like those. You have quite a collection for the game there.

Yakari does look very masculin. I acctually thought that was a male japanese name or something. "She" looks a lot like Tim.

They are really cool though on a whole. I dig the shading. And how everyone has a different hair style. I'm gonna look at these when I run out of ideas!

I feel sorry for Abagail... lol. Being a blob and all.

I can't download them for some reason. Can you make them visible, or at least give directions to seeing them?

Ahh. Much better.

But really, they're okay. My only real suggestion is to just stick to writing music and stories, which you do very well. Halogrunt001 (who abandoned the forums long ago) used to draw much like that, and has become rater experienced in photoshop as well. You have potential, though you're about seven years older than he is.

I wouldn't go the distance to say they're THAT good, Cabbageking.

I'm really thinking about sticking to my old technique of just doing CG in MSPaint and saying "screw it" to hand drawing.

And yes, this is an ungodly old thread.
