Gizmog wins TWO PRIZES for Giz No Ingles which made me laugh every time Red Mage appeared, every time the word SUGGEST was used and for the fact that Clint Eastwood was president which made me laugh triumphantly. Not only did it make me laugh more than three times while.. kinda following the suggestion theme, but it was the use of the theme that made me laugh so this winner goes doubly. The other prize is for God Damn Is It Dark In Here. This game was so funny that not only did I laugh about seven times before, during and after playing, but everyone who saw me play or heard me talk about it laughed at least three times too. I can retire from the joke game genre at peace knowing it's safe in the hands of Gizmog One.

Sephy wins one prize for the strategy game because I found the characters and graphics to be uproariously funny. I really really loved the look on the arsonist's face when he burns himself to death.

So the winners can PM, Email or AIM me their mailing addresses and I'll send them some original artwork POSTHASTE!

PS: I know there's ten hours left, but with Shadow dropping out and Moogle's status a mystery, I doubt we'll see any more entries in time. Any more winners will be edited into this entry or just replied about in this thread. I WILL make exceptions for Moogle and Shadow since I think they're the two best designers that ever touched the OHR and if they deliver their games as much as a week late I'll still reward them with fabulous existent prizes, something the competition has never been able to boast!

Actually, Gil, if I don't release my game, you still laughed at it once, making it a winner by technicality.

I have done very little work on the game, meaning it won't be what I wanted, but I have an idea (inspired by the original Monty Python's Flying Circus computer game which none of you has ever heard of) that I may be able to squeeze into my Christmas schedule to get it out on deadline. This would fit Rinku's theme (loosely) and also get at least two more laughs from Gil.

Oh yes, if your game isn't finished then it can't technically fit Rinku's theme so one laugh will do. If it IS released then I'm sure I'll get a couple more laughs out of it. So send me your address! I'd say "Fake games can't win!" but that would make me a filthy lying hypocrite bastard considering Airship 2600.

Dropping out is for fat people. I hope my grandma in utah's computer works, because this could be the "game made in one day that makes no friggen sense" that ate christmas/human/gilbert day.

Also, "Shadow made dis" will have to wait until after christmas. I'll give you a hint, it involves Elvis and gardening. I'd share a title screen but it is on my dorm computer.

In that case, I'd like to submit Air Guitar 2600! It's a magical guitar that can make any sound you can imagine! If you want one, check under your chair right now: you'll find it eventually. Gilbert has already approved of Air Guitar 2600 over AIM, and I hope you all will find it a worthy Christmas gift.

Gilbert,

Don't count your statues just yet. As I mentioned at the beginning of the month, I started writing the outline for a new game designed exclusively for this contest (well, and for Rinku's too I guess), and I haven't backed down from it. Now with only 20 hours left to finish, this game will be released.

And it'll be a major underscored version of the game I wanted to make, but...just get your prize ready. Four years without releasing a playable game has stored up some pent up comedy that needed to get out.

So, 20 hours and counting...

I dunno if you got my e-mail last night or not, but I was kinda hoping for an extension. Mr. T's Fantastic Adventure! FEATURING SETH! is 2/3 done, I was just tired as all hell last night and had to go to sleep early instead of finishing it.

It'll be done tonight but, yeah. Extension please? It'll be so worth it.
