A chinese person speaking Japanese? Chinese people are supposed to hate the Japanese in a stereotypical way.

If you wanna get into stereotypes, it's more like every other asian country hates the chinese, and in some cases, every asian hates every other asian. Ha ha ha!

Whoa, hiya DJFenix, hmm...? I did? I don't remember saying something like that---

Errr wow, that's pretty stereotypical, though my cousin unfortunately falls into that category. (war is indeed evil) :o

I don't think I fall into that category though (I hope), I loooooove JP and KR, they make killer food (not literally). art. and games that suite my taste. Big grin
I love importing the games too...

*cough*
finally finished my part of the art art trade for someone on DA

I umm... chibified his character Raspberry!

ふむ、Hiii, sorry, I haven't posted in a while... I lost the URL a while back Oookay...... Umm... Just posting my art here as usual, I hope no one minds.

My part of the Art Trade with Kauri (TPM) aka Onidrill on Deviantart. She wanted me to draw the main character from Suikoden IV (Lazlo) so... ya XD Hope you like.

Lazlo is using his Rune of Punishment... (lets just say he's immune to the glow from the rune, ya!)

Thank you for your honest response. I can understand that it looks nothing like him, as I don't have the same drawing style, and I have never played the game as well.

I should post some older works here as well :o

I hate drawing fire, and sort of messed it up, Here's Amaterasu from Okami

My Ori-charas (original characters)

More Ori-charas
(sort of messed up his arm) :o

My Ori-chara sprites

Whew, that's about it... Hope you like ^^

first ori-chara:
I like the coloring a lot. Your shapes are elegant (simple) though I think you could do with more dithered shading and texturing of long surfaces withoput which the art may look a little plain. The sword in that picture looks much like a ... well not like a blade really.
The second one is more interesting in my opinion though sadly the girl's body is much too thin compared to her head. She doesn't look like a child but like some abused anorexic chick. But the clothing is good.
The guy's armor doesn't feel metallic nor even as dyed leather, and his arms emerge from its sides oddly (they cant logically be there otherwise they wouldnt go inside the armor... lol)
For the battle sprites, the first one is very good but has odd coloring (not sure if its the background giving me this impression, but it sorta has only fade colors). The second is even more mono-chromatic and could do with some additives.

Aside of that, amazing art really. Almost dribbled Wink

こんにちは
I lost the URL for this site but recently did a search for OHRRPGCE and got the forum again ^^

I haven't been drawing much, but was wondering how people get over their art block?
Here's a few works I've done over the past year

雪の為に

テリコ・フリードマン

More Than Words...

And here is a work that I'm currently working on... it's a gift art for my friend whom is currently addicted to World of Warcraft... honestly, you'd think that would be totally cool, but I hardly see her online anymore...

Geez, dude. Love the chick with the gun. Very nice coloring. You said you use computer, right? What program(s)?

that stuff is great! Good work!

I like the saying "the cure for writer's block is to write"

I think one way of breaking artist's block is to force yourself to work, even if you don't feel creative. The good creative feeling usually cones back after work awhile.

Thank you very much. The person with the gun was a request by a friend. I'm glad you like it! For all my drawing, I use Adobe Photoshop CS2... as for animating, I use ULEAD GIF Animator.

オホ~I'm honored! Thank you very much for the comment and advice! I can relate to that method-- sometimes I try to kick myself into drawing... it's really a hit or miss though, sometimes it gets my gear moving, other times... I just stumble and stare at a blank canvas... シクシク

As for free time coding, scrapping my current project... my friend wants me to sprite things for him as contract work XD

My old sprite and revisal
