Hi. I'm a big fan of horror games, and since I'm pretty new here, I haven't played or seen that much games. So does anyone know which good horror games I could play? (I've already played Purgatory)

Thanks.

Pitch Black is a corny horror game.

Pitch Black 2 is a slightly less corny horror game.

Bliss isn't really horror, but it is mind blowing.

For some reason A.R. isn't on the list. Eh.

Purgatory is great. Play it again. Raspberry!

Pergatory is great. Everyone play it. Also you could try project 'C' but its not really horror. But on a side note, what is A.R?

Alternet Reality, an old game by Shiz if I recall? It was very well done, but it seems to have faded away...

Add On: Seventh Day was supossed to be horror, but I think I failed. Raspberry!

Tremor was a horror game. Good luck finding it.

I may still have a copy.

I have Tremor on my hard drive. If you want me to upload it, say the word.

Also, moved to the OHR forum, since this is in the wrong place.

Project 'C' was definitely a horror game.
Play it at night with the lights turned out. THe atmosphere it sets is great.

C works better without music, by the way. (not that Setu's music is bad, but try playing Clock Tower :TFF with music in the hallways when you are just walking. Yeah, the mood is kinda ruined)

I've been meaning to apologize for the music placement in `C`. I couldn't play sound at the time, and the music was placed at the very last second.

But as far a horror goes, Hawk and I are currently working on 'Train', which is like `C`, only done correctly.

Alternate Reality was a game by Dr. Greg (Wrong doctor. Big grin) made a couple years ago. I think Greg still picks at it now and then, but it's not officially been released.

Last I heard, it was in bug testing stages, but that was a while ago. A shame, because it had some neat things to it... like the gfx, for starters. Also, the idea was pretty groovy.

I'm going to make a horror game called "Flinch" after I'm done with Kitsune, and thats not just a whim due to this thread.

All of the above suggestions are good, also, with Halloween coming up, I'm going to have some contest information posted in, I don't know, maybe 4 or 5 days, for a Horror Game Competition, with the deadline being Halloween, like last year.
