What are the cards going to be? NPCs or maptiles?

OK, I'll help.
Do you want an image of the selected card to appear for the second menu? _________________ "It is so great it is insanely great." |

I'm guess she'd want a card image per tileset, and a huge list of all the cards she has. (possibly on a different map) _________________ If we were a pack of dogs, IM would be a grand Hound, CN would be a very ficious little pitball, and Giz...well, it doesn't matter breed he is, he'd still be a bitch

Heh, if all you want is interaction and stuff, you could always set something up similar to my rigged I-can't-really-program-to-save-my-life .hack//OHR script.
<.< >.>
Also, the password to edit the game in Custom is "myrmidon".
Or, you could just do it the real way, but this way you don't have to be smart to do it. _________________

Ok.
I say it's time to get rid of that terrible blocky looking 1-tile-per-letter font used in all OHR games, to neaten up the menu : P |

Heh. Yeah, I know what you mean. That's why most of my menues have specifically drawn text which could be done a lot better if I took the time to care. |

Modifying the palette is the easiest method, not writing text with npcs. I don't think I've ever seen anybody edit the palette for something other than a day/night system. _________________ "It is so great it is insanely great." |

What TMC refers to is:
Making a screen that has all the menu text on it, but making all the menu text painted in different color indexes. In such a way, if you had 10 menu items, the menu item one would be colored in index 1 and so forth. Then when running the menu script, you would begin by making all the menu items the same color. To highlight a menu item you would just change its color.
He made a demo of this at some point, it's really a great way to use it. |

Don't worry, I'll set it up for you. You will set all the text and background into a bmp file. Maybe I'll see you on MSN.
Do you want a background for the menu? Text on black doesn't look too good : / _________________ "It is so great it is insanely great." |
