Idea: One big Eggie art thread, since you draw a lot really fast (similar to what Uncommon does)

His left arm looks awkward and his torso is increibly flat.

Sometimes it's good to use a reference. Look at yourself in the mirror, imitating the pose you intend to draw. Take photos, if need be. Just, if you're working on proportion, you're gonna have trouble if you're just winging it.

Yes, I agree. It looks good and all, but there are some important details that are missing.
Drawing people flat from one side is really tuff. Try drawing from the front of the subject. Its much easier.
*Photos are a great help.

I actually was thinking about that today.

I do that quite a bit, and stripping yourself down to check proportion just feels dirty, but hey, I had to do it.

Anyway, it seems that I am starting to use my body for references, and things are starting to look better. Like my thighs are 1.5 binders long, as my body is, too. And my fore arm is 1.25 binders long.
[joke] Screw Imperial and Metric! Go with binders! [/joke]

I actually would believe that the shirt that he is wearing would kind of drag over the thighs a bit because he's leaning over.

I never said anything about stripping down.
And his chest looks too thin either way you look at it. Bodies tend to protrude a bit farther from the neck.

I wasn't trying too hard on this one. I needed a break. What I did is worked on prespective (perspective?). I made it so Ryan's gun was coming right at the viewer ready to fire at their fat head. I didn't concentrate on detail.

This picture goes out to the motherf***ing greatest. Who's the best artist in all of CP? Well, not me. This is pretty bad that my dedication to the best artist on CP is not that good. Oh well.

I'll make a better dedication some other time.

Gun needs to be shaded in. I mean, it's metallic, so it shines more than clothes do right? Anyways, the 2nd pic looks better than the first. The first one looks really flat.

Good. Your perspective seems ok. I agree with RMZ that the gun needs a metalic shade of some sort.

I haven't been on that much recently, but I have been working a little bit on my art. For now, I'll just show you something I had drawn not too long ago.

This is Brandy. Yay.

Soon enough I will try to learn perspective. I don't know if that's the word, though...

Her feet look lazily drawn. It's obvious you took some time on the detailing of everything else, but those feet...
Also, that front thingimawhatsit of hair looks like it's being sucked from her brow, and I'm not feeling it with the tail.

Dispite some symetry problems here, your art work has very much improved. I look back a year, then here and gasp. What?!?!

Nice shading detail. Well, nicer than usual. keep getting better! Happy

I like the drawing (though I'm not much for she-dragons in armor, myself), but your handwriting is awful.
