I've been making a real effort to do better graphics than what I did for Bliss. Here's what I've been working on.

The color contrast is somewhat overpowering. Perhaps the roofs and the strips on the walls could be lighter.

The proportions are good. They could be a little smoother, but that's a style thing once again. Overall, acceptable. *thumbs up*
(now to get back to work)

Those look great so far, I like the roofs.

But yeah, the roof is really dark and the grass is...really bright.

I like the guy's npc, though. And the style really fits the game. It's kinda like the old style, yet it has a style of it's own (and looks better).

Keep it up! I can't wait for another Bliss update. ^_^

Good graphics. I can't really spot a problem.

Looks good, I agree with the others, brighten up the rooftiles especially.

The grass seems to 'tile' well, the only other negative thing I could say is that the top of the trees seem sort of 'flat', perhaps adding a few brighter colours towards the top of them would lessen this effect, but overall I would say they are good tiles.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I'll try brightening up the roof and wall tiles.

Its probably just my eyes, but the boards the house is made of is too much of a contrast. Otherwise I like it.

It's not just "your eyes". Read the other replies. Everyone's said that.
Honestly, I don't think it's the houses that are too dark, but the grass that's too light, or both. The grass hurts more than the houses.

Aside from the color toning (which, as Aeth would say, I can't really talk when it comes to that department), your houses are well structured and it's also a good thing that you have your sandy patches and roads real rugged but connected.

What kind of town is all grassy?

NOTE TO ALL OHR USERS:

Cobblestones!!! Stone floors! even old towns have these.. they are in all your favorite games, and they look cooler than grass in a town.

Cobblestones? Why would those exist in a pre-horse and buggy society? Besides, this is a picture of a village. And, even more importantly, I haven't drawn the stone walkway for the big city in the game.
