Honestly, there is a large handful of things I can point out that could improve this, but it took me 5 hours to do, so I would like a second opinion on how I can work this up to scale.

It's a map for the AGS (Adventure Game Studio) engine, where they let you make picture maps. Anyways, have at it.

Look at some of Da Vinci's artwork. Notice how it 'fades' with different shades. The shadow of the house is VERY bad because it's just a bunch of darkness over it, but it doesn't fade to anything.

The windows look like they're reflecting light from the sun, but the sun is behind the house.

Most houses have lights on inside them.

It has no style. I'm sure this board discourages replies like that, but I don't know what else to say. I personally think you should scan in a drawing so you get the rectangular nature out of it. No matter if they should be perfectly straight lines, so many of them don't look good at all. Maybe make this academy on top of a hill? Or just have a much more dynamic angle on it.

In the exact centre of ALL the windows? And if we can see the light, why can't we see anything else inside the house? If these windows are reflecting light from the sky, where are the clouds?

If I honestly had the luxury of a good computer and picture scanner, I probably would go with paper drawings. Otherwise, I'm quite flattered that some of you are actually thinking that some of the picture's weaknesses are due to what I must have been thinking while I was making it.

Actually, I do kinda suck at this sort of thing, I'll admit. This is just the best I can do, not being drawing-inclined like a lot of you more talented people here. I guess I shouldn't quit my musical day job. Raspberry!
