I try to import PSTUTOR.HS to make a script but this message always appears: (name of document) is not really a compiled .HS file. Did you create it by
compilimg a script file with
hspeak.exe or did you just give your script a name that ends
with .hs and hope it will work? Use hspeak.exe to create
real .hs files. What's wrong here? I'm using HssEd ryt now. I compile my scripts in hspeak. i put a .hs at the end of the filenames.

What do you mean you put hs at the end of the filename? Hspeak automatically compiles a hs from a text file so you don't need to put hs at the end. Have you been accidentally importing the text file with hs on the end thinking it was the compiled script file? _________________

You aren't compiling your script. When you type it into HssEd and save it, your script is saved as HamsterSpeak Source - thus the .hss extension. That file is not the one the game uses, however. To create the COMPILED file, go to the "script" menu and click on "Compile." If you haven't done this before, it might ask you to locate the compiler for it. To do this, press the "Browse" button, make sure you're in your OHRRPGCE directory, and select HPSPEAK.EXE. HssEd should then send your file through the compiler, and a file should appear in you OHRRPGCE directory called
