I was going to LJ this, but I think it will be better heard here.

Everyone who has LJed me recently who doesn't know me in real life (ie everyone here except Mr. B), please refrain from IMing me from this point forward. Various reasons include:

1. I am spending far too much time on the internet and on instant messenging when I should be preparing for college.

2. I am easily distracted by people IMing me in the middle of assignments, which is very bad.

3. 90% of the stuff I hear is useless anyway.


If you IM me something useless, I'll have no choice but to block you. I'm also trying to not be on more often so the "urge" won't come up

Exceptions:
1. Its some emergency.
2. It has to do with either an email, IM, or PM I sent you (IE my OHR Weekly articles)
3. I know you in real life

Please respect this. I've been spending far too much time in my room doing nothing but chat, and I need to cut back. Please, dont' anyone take this as a personal offence, because it isn't directed at one person.

Oh, and I'll still be visiting the forums, though I'll be visiting IRC less (less then what I've been doing...that is pratically nothing I suppose). It is my step to reforming my life, so please respect that.

Yes. I am easily distracted when people start sending me IMs, so I'm gonna cut back for a week or so until I cool down. It has helped already, actually. :flamedevil:
