For Quinn's...
Thanks for the kind words, allways nice to see a review of one's games. As for the lack of a King's Basement I...it exists, it was for one of the earlier 48hr contests (I recall it had bills never go west and scars of glory in it, but I forget which it was in numerical order) when the rest of my team disappeard and I wanted to submit *something* so I made a 20-text box game similar to tkb2, though hardly anyone could figure out the controls... It's long since been lost somewhere in the internet. I might make a remake version of it one of these days, so people can make a bit more sense of the plot. Oh, and a king's basement 3 is practicaly guranteed for the next 48hr contest.
For Jabber's...
Sorry I took forever to reply to it, heh. Anyway, you made some very good points that are well noted. Balance is probably my hardest thing to get down right in making games, and this game is yet another good example of it (I'm allways afraid of making it 'too easy' because of all the complaints you hear about it. Unfortunatley, making it too hard is even worse). RRZR was intentionally designed to be hard, but it backfired because I didn't make it fun enough to back up the severe hardness. And even so, it shouldn't have been quite that hard. Ah, well, hopefully if I make a RRZR2 for next Haloween I'll be able to fix these things and make a far better game. Oh, and...CN said the same thing about "the thing" when I showed him a beta screen...it's actually supposed to be a zombie hand. _________________ "Why is it when they say an adult has the mind of a Sew, they lock him up, while Sews are allowed to run free in the streets."

I was actually going to post a thread on this review myself, but you beat me to it, Hawk. I wanted to just mention that Quinn should get a pat on the back and a cookie for actually taking the time to make a few small changes to the review that I suggested when I initially rejected it. Quinn is one of very few people who actually edit it and fix it up so that it becomes a review that is acceptable. So few reviews that have small problems are edited and it's really quite sad because it prevents reviews that could be good from going up (we do get the occasional "junk review" where every category is like "it was good" "it sucked", etc.). Actually, I take that back. Almost all of the rejected reviews (between one-third and one-half of all reviews submitted are rejected) are not edited and resubmitted. Anyway, kudos to Quinn for that. Hopefully other people will follow in your footsteps in the future. _________________
