On the game I've been working on (The path down the multi colored road, lets call it TMCR) I'm considering driving most of the story with picture backdrops (just like a start movie) and for the times when you need to find stuff, look for people, battle,etc. that it would put you back in the RPG. The events would all be text boxes and pictures. I think it would be a good alternative to trying to potray scenes with NPCs, complecated plotscripts and such.

But thats just me(or is it) Question

I'd show some of my pics but most of em were scanned and there file size is to big togo on my site. Oookay...

Yeah, that's a good idea, if you can be bothered to draw a couple hundred pics... I'm using backdrops for my game too, in the same way you are.

whoa ok I'm not like animating it. I just ment vignettes. But thats cool... f it's a narto RPG be sure to put in big flashy ninja moves (art of the doppleganger hooha! lol) But seriously tell me more, in another forum about naruto sprites you said you had the best plotscripter in tha world with you on the game. Are you gona have the gamplay all tricked out with stuff? Question
