I don't, but I know that's just me, 'cos all of the art books I've ever seen tell you to draw that way. But I draw my lines pretty sharply, so they wouldn't be any fun to erase. I don't particularly like erasing that way because I erase enough that I go through a pencil after about 2 or 3 pictures. |

Depends on the pose. If its a simple pose (say, standing) I usually can draw them fully clothed. If its a bizzare stance (say, a battle action) I usually draw a stick figure (to get proporions), draw them "nude" then put on clothes.
For a REALLY well designed character, I ALWAYS draw their body outline, then usually draw a bunch of clothes/clothes-styles and then pick what they will wear for that particular scene...
Of course, doing one picture usually takes me a good week, because I'm a freaking perfectionist. Thats why I haven't made any complete games yet. _________________ But enough talk, have at you! |
