Wasn't Hamsterspeak also the name of the secret Ohrrpgce messageboard project / competitor with CP that T-Master was working on and then abandoned? _________________ Tower Defense Game |

The messageboard itself wasn't intended to be a secret messageboard, it was simply a secret project to create a messageboard, which would have gone public if he had finished it. But no matter, I just thought it coincidental. _________________ Tower Defense Game |

PHC, one thing you might want to consider in keeping this magazine fresh is to differentiate your columns each month. Have something new to feature from one issue to the next (like an audio dialogue between creators making fun of each others' games in one issue, but something else, like an interview, in the next, for example) so the readers/viewers don't get bored with the same stuff every time. Of course, keep the staples like previews/reviews/features intact (I highly recommend bringing the Top 30 back, too, since that was the greatest draw of past magazines, and certainly the thing that inspires the best content--that competitive element that Lucier mentioned earlier). But don't hold to every tested column all the time. A comic might be nice one month, but a fanfic (or original fic) might be more appropriate the following month. Or an OHR Movie delivering a news story--doesn't matter how variant--it should just offer some variety every issue. I think it's the best way to keep community interest going; not to mention, I think it'll be your best shot at keeping the magazine running for awhile, and keeping you from burning out.
Just for the record, I cringed at the HamsterSpeak name. If you want other name ideas (without OHR in the title), here's a short list:
Fred
Electronic Medley
Hooked on Caffeine
Free Reader
The Hall of Indie-Ware
Monitor Candy
Carpal Tunnel News
Starting with a Hamster
Once was DOS
Buyer Beware
Or whatever--just keep it imaginative.
I might contribute to this once in awhile if it takes off. Good luck. _________________ Progress Report:

I think HamsterSpeak is better than all of the names Pepsi suggested, though I don't really like HamsterSpeak either. _________________ Tower Defense Game |

| The reviews section can be called "Tunnel Vision", because that's basically what a review usually is. |

PHC, I released my game demo, so if you need a game for review, I don't mind if you use it.
Some possible name suggestions:
OHR Hamsterthread Magazine
OHRpro
Hamsterguide
Surlaw's Fantastically Adequate Superbly Spiffy Magazine
Bob
OHR Tech
Hamsterdamster
