^^^ FF12 has avoidable enemies? Huh, I wouldn't know, I've never played the game.
And I don't care what you think. Gunblades are awesome. |

ok, first, Fenrir, thanks for the comment.
I'm not making FF XII, like I said, I'm making my own FF game. You probably noticed I mentioned it before...
Also, yes I have beaten FF XII and I had just bougt the Game Guide.
Just so you know.
I'm still going to do FF Galaxy though, because I already made lots of things in it and I don't want to cancel the whole project.
Also, PHC, LMAO "hugs and sunshine", lol...
and my friend says (to Val) that gunblades are a cool thing, but it's just that the gunblades in FF8, suck because they didn't even fire like "guns", they just exploded upon impact. and I agree with what he says.
Also, a little update:
I finished the first couple maps and the hero graphics. I also did the whle intro and the game till the first boss.

I think with Seifer's Limit Break you got to fire... I think...
Anywho, cool. At this rate you could have an awesome demo out in no time. Hey, if you ever need a playtester, I'd love to give it a try. Keep up the good work. |

Small Update:
New Game name: "Xerion"
Also: Time passes! Every half-Hour of playing, the game changes from Day to night and then back from Night to day.
Some missions can only be done during day/night and NPCs, Monsters and some maps change during the night.
Also, I put up some screenshots and some info on my website. _________________ http://www.madsoftgames.net/

Galaxy...Xerion...
So it's going to be a FF-styled game...In space?
I actually don't think the title plays too big of a role in a game, so I don't feel that it's necessary to work so hard to find a good, untaken title.
I mean, look at the title: 'Final Fantasy'. This suggests that the final fantasy would occur in the first game; however, twelve (thirteen?) sequal-ish-thingies have been created, each calling itself a final fantasy. Obviously, the title is not required to have anything to do with the game at all.
Also, it's not that hard to come up with a title composed of mindless babble. I mean, look at my current project "Detelamane". Just a couple of letters smooshed together to make a word. I don't have any plans to have anything remotely close to being called a Detelamane, but it makes just as much sense as Final Fantasy.
Also, such little variation in a name can actually cause trouble in the big leagues. I believe "Mythic" sued "Mythica" because the names were too confusing, and Mythica was produced by Microsoft, causing an unfair advantage.
If you ever want to generate a random name, I recommend checking this spot out. |

Hey, MADSOFT. Do you still want my help with sprites? I've been working on a few but it's kind of been put on the shelf due to my work on my soon-to-be bestselling novel. I enjoy making enemy graphics, and I'd be happy to keep working on them. If I'm not mistaken, I was somewhere in the middle of an Antlion graphic when I started working on my book again.
I'll send you graphics when I get some finished.
And have you ever noticed how you seem to use a lot of smilies? |

ok, thanks a lot Twinhamster, that site is pretty cool, and also, it has space related themes, but it's not in space, just some space traveling and dimension traveling.
Also, Thanks Val, I really appreciate, and yes, I like using smilies! lol

At this point my instinct is to wage a SMILIE WAR against you, but some of the older members might frown upon that. Killjoys.
Okay, one smilie. |
