Ah, I see, I took "You can rip anything but an actual .RPG file." to include all ripped graphics. But I get it now.

How would that be, RMZ? By reading the file properties, or is some info stored in the RPG file?

A question: Do I have to sign up?

You would have to be some kind of Uber Game maker to be finished by April first. Or if you have a really short game in mind, then it could be possible.

I don’t think it is necessary to sign up. Just say when you’re in and RMZ will jot you down. I suppose…

I have all the judging preplanned out. But like I said, don't worry about it. And this is a community judge and I have slightly altered the scoring system. However, the 50(55)% is still part of your score. I will need some judges, as many as I can possibly get. I of course am one of them, any other takers speak up now or else it will be a one man judging system. You have until the end of the contest. And no one who is entering the contest can be a judge, that's just not fair. This is why I didn't make an entry.

Is it legal to get some outside help right now? From people who aren't entering of course... Just info. Nothing big... maybe using a certain person's computer?

(It's hard to design a game if you can't play it in Game.exe...)

Yes Leroy it is alright. My only big thing is as mentioned, which from the people I have checked up on every now and again have been using a brand new .RPG file. Having a partner is perfectally legal. You could have a group on your team if you desired. But they must all be marked as helpers in a readme file upon download along with the 5 screenshots.

Ok things are going from bad to worse. I finally got a new monitor, and I'm not going to be able to finish my game seriously. So I'm going to make it a joke game. Be prepared for Arfenhouse graphics.
