Could an admin PLEASE close this thread? I think Camdog and PHC can continue their argument in PM just as well. And jeez you guys, if someone is harassing YOU multiple times, I'm sure you can collect some quotes of it and ask an admin to help solve the issue. If someone happens to say, "omg eskimos are teh loserz" and you happen to be an Eskimo, before you get offended, realize that the person wasn't trying to hurt you, and most importantly, doesn't even care if you are an Eskimo.

No one on CP is twisting your arm to hang out in the mirc channels when people are telling lewd jokes, or to respond to someone acting unknowingly stupid. It's your choice, and if you find yourself just so outraged you can't stand it, do yourself a favor and turn off your damn computer and go for a walk till you calm down. If you're really here to make games and have a good time, do what you do in real life, just walk away when you're offended, don't go looking to pick fights. There are plenty of good people in the community who share your views of what is good behavior and what isn't. Find your group of friends, and hang out with them, have a good time. If you don't like PHC's nonsensically offensive brand of humor, don't hang out with him. If you think Camdog is an oversensitive whiner, don't hang out with him.

Sheesh. What is with you people trying to make everyone else conform to your highly individual set of rules? Unless you're being directly harassed, accept the fact that you need to find your group of like-minded people in the OHR community to hang around with, just like real life friends.

I'd just like to point out that I've never advocated censoring anyone, not am I defending anyone in particular. I just think it's flawed thinking to say that something intended as a joke can't be offensive. But yeah, this conversation has spiraled out of control, so... the end.
