Didn't I tell you to trust me? :(
Seriously, though, Verdimea's houses use a REALLY harsh gradient and are particularly ugly. Also, they're a lot smaller. |

I stand behind my review. That game only got what it deserved. I mean, God, I had to play through that whole thing.
One thing I've gotta say, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be from the description, it was worse.
Calehay, you talk about this game as if you put a lot of thought and effort into it, and that makes me sad, 'cos I don't see it in the finished product.
I would like to reassert that

I don't feel either review was too harsh, but if you thought the game deserved better then you're free to write a review yourself. _________________ Locked

Wow, Uncy, you linked my article. After re-reading it, I now realize how bad it is. I should consider rewriting it... _________________ But enough talk, have at you! |

| I didn't pick the 8 best articles ever, just the 8 I thought would help Calehay the most. |

This is all I wanted. I need to know what to make me a better RPG Maker.
Parallel to Crescent Dream: The beginning is, but what I have planned seems to be going on a completely different direction.
Please, don't give me a break. Uncommon, you're review was a little harsh, but that's just because of how you worded it. I understand what you mean.
I put thought in the game, but not as much as I wanted to. Since this was my first game, I wanted to use one of my lesser stories. (Believe me, I do have much better than this.)
The houses: Yes. These are pretty ugly. This is the problem with creating something for a long time. After a while, they just started to look good.
Dialogue: The characters are quite flat. Again that's a fault of the story.
I thank you quite a bit. However, there are a few things I would like to say.
Verki is a man. Did it never say that in the game? Ree said "He wanted to speak with you." Tell me if it didn't.
Multiple talking: Forgot to do that part of playtesting. (And yes, I did play the game.)
Battle Theme: What's wrong with the battle theme?
Thank y'all quite a bit. You may feel that you have been cheated of time, but you have allowed someone to open their eyes to their faults.
And note Uncommon, I didn't think this game was amazingly brilliant. I thought it was just a game.
And what's wrong with Sani's hair? Would it help if I posted my concept art.
Expect this demo to be redone. (Sometime in the future.) I'm going to take a break from this game for a while. I have some other things to worry about. _________________ Calehay |

Congrats to you on being more mature than most people who get negative reviews.
| Quote: | | Dialogue: The characters are quite flat. Again that's a fault of the story. |
No, that's the fault of the dialogue. Story and dialogue, although they relate to eachother (in that dialogue tends to tell the story), are really separate things. You could still make good dialogue and deeper characters without changing what happens in the story too much.

Yeah, it did. I couldn't quite remember when I got to the review though. I thought I remembered Ree calling Verki a "he," but I also thought Verki looked quite a lot like a woman, and Verki sounds like a woman's name to me. So I wasn't sure.

It takes a lot of talent to make ridiculously spiky hair and still have it look good. And the fact that there was just the one HUGE spike didn't help you. _________________ Locked

I actually designed the characters very flat. I've created much better characters. _________________ Calehay |

I agree. That's the most mature response to a critical review I've seen in a very long time. I salute you for not trying to excuse away your faults. _________________
