I really have no idea what is going on in your game. If a game doesn't atleast state in the first five minutes (or atleast before the player even starts playing) some sort of storyline, then the game itself just seems pointless.

I mean, I wandered around for a while on the map without any direction, or knowledge of where I was, where I was supposed to go, or why I was even there.

The battles are all lame, and each of them are escapable. The hero has no special attacks, so it's mainly 'hit the spacebar as quick as you can'. By the time I reached the last Boss, he killed me in one hit.

The whole conversation between Tectro and Rune, I mean.. why are these people fighting? You stated that yeah, he killed his family, but why? Who is this guy? Who is the hero? Why do we care?

That's basically when the game ended, as after the 'two weeks later' sign I was teleported back to the same place, but instead I was controlling a walking cat, and I couldn't go anywhere.

I need some help with the plotscripting, aand I have barely started on the hero. You have to walk all the way right with the cat...

How do i Make battles un-escapeable?

How did you get to the cat, if you lost the fight?

I don't know how to upload it to castl paradox. If I do, how do I replace it after making a better, newer version?

Your first game shouldn't be a real game.
Instead, you should play around with the OHRRPGCE's features and develop a familiarity with the system. Once you've got a sense of what's going on, you can then start your real project.

Unescapable: Enemies have a 'bitsets' sub-menu. scroll through the options and you'll find "unescapable" option.

Cat: Jack must have played again, this time running away from the final boss.

Uploading to CP:

Click in the area in the image shown.

CastleParadox only accepts .zip files, so you might want to start zipping, rather than rarring them.

Thanks for the support people!

I am getting ready to release V.04 It basicaly goes a little further than V.03, but has enemy stat fixes, bitset fixes, item fixes, ect.

(I still don't get plot scripting, and suck at getting enimy stats in good alignment, but I am getting there!

Odd, that's never happened to me. Maybe try zipping your files again and then try uploading it.

Maybe your zip program is broken. But that's just a guess. Sorry I can't be of more help.

The game's the only real important thing, but you could always include a readme or something.

It's not working because you're trying to upload a text file, not a zip file. CP will accept a file no matter what it is as long as it ends in a .zip.

Are you sure you're creating a .zip file? The original download you linked to was a .rar, which is different.

If you're sure you're creating a .zip, either send it to me in an e-mail or upload the .zip version so I can try to add the game. What program are you using to create the file?
