My ideas usually just kind of hit me. Like, I come up with one idea, and go on for a while with it, and just see some other idea that can come along, and resolve the first idea, to lead into the next. Other times, I'll see a trailer for a movie or something, and guess how it's going to happen. Of course, when I see the movie, I'm completely offbase, but still have that idea lying around for how it should have happened.
Btw, I been meaning to try PHC's method. You wouldn't happen to know a guy who could cut me a good deal on some, would ya? |

My insparation comes from many things. Mostly from books and comic books. (Please don't say I have too much time on my hands, because its true) My brother is also responcible for some of the games I've made.

If I used my dreams for plot you'd all be playing games where the character battles Orville the green duck puppet thingy whilst high on a ladder that reaches into outer space. Or sitting in a circus tent in hell, that's burning down, waiting for the show to start. Or being mauled by a Lion during an on location shooting of a ChristianAid appeal. Or falling into lava because the character lost his footing stepping into a rollercoaster car. Or fishing from an exposed rock during a hurricane. Or sitting an exam in McDonalds on a train. Or sitting around doing nothing, eating a packet of jaffa cakes. Or narrating himself as he runs from dinosaurs... and Ronald McDonald. Or...

Random insane images that pop up in my head and comic strips I drew in my childhood, along with some insane stories my brother used to tell me. I don't read enough to get inspiration anywhere else (easily).

Well most of mine are based upon real life, and if I jump up and ride an airship so be it! What? You've never ridden an airship?  well then... Just remember you listening to someone chewing on a chord... does anybody have any gum?

1)Air ships (not original by the least)
2)... Curley hair...

Wow, that was almost a year coming.... 
I mean....dates? Do they exist anymore?
What inspires me is just plain random things that are interesting. Like in biology I was thinking, could a food chain be all carnivores just eating each other? Pure, random thoughts that power me on.

No, it couldn't just be carnivores, because the raw energy has to come from somewhere (generally photosynthesis).
And I have to wonder what this has to do with anything.

1) Giant birds, airplanes, and spaceships are overused as well.
