After three months of working day and night (okay, more like working when I had the time), I am pleased to announce that all of the old information from the first site has been uploaded to the current one.

Sound the trumpets!

This means that I can finally trash the old HTML files and can finally start working on new content for the website.

I also added a pretty nifty feature to each game's summary page. If the particular game has been in a contest, it will show additional information so that the user may have a better understanding of what or why the game was made a particular way.

Currently, it will only show a single contest for each game, but I am trying to figure out how I can code it so it will accept multiple contests for a single game (for instance Fenrir's Timestream Saga: AIR game being in both the Terrible 2009 contest and 8-bit 2008 contest).

For example:

If you haven't subscribed to the feed yet, you should consider it:

Stay tuned for new content and information!

If you have access to the results, I think it would be nice to have the top three winners of each contest mentioned in the contest and/or game pages.

And I still have to put those files together for you. Been a slacker this week.

This is cool -

Can users add games / music, or do we have to send them through you?

I've planned on having the results up for each contest for quite some time. I just haven't got around to making it happen yet.

I actually did update one contest entry this morning to give you an idea of what I would like to do:

Currently there is no way to add content yourself. If enough people were interested though, I could make it happen.

May I suggest having the ability to sort games by completeness? I think it would be nice to have this feature, since there is an option allowed for games in production.

That is in the works. It may be a while before it is live though. Many games that were "demos" years ago will never be updated due to folks leaving the community and whatnot. In my eyes, those games are as complete as they ever will be, and should be listed accordingly.
