If there wasn't so much going on, I'd be down for this 100%. And I haven't played all the Final Fantasy games to the end... But FF9 I definitely did and I plan on making a parody of that in the future. _________________ ---------------Projects----

If you haven't played FFX, (slight spoilers) after you beat the last boss, you fight the very last boss, who looks like a giant tick. Your party is set to permanent Auto-Life status and therefore cannot die. Pretty lame, but it would be fantastic in the format of FF7OHR. _________________

Well, let's you and I make a FFIX and FFX bundle after we get our project going. Because the joke in FFIX, as yal said in my LJ, pretty much wrote itself. Which I oughta be able to do that one easily, it's my favorite FF after all, ha.
But as for the FFX ending, from what I know of how it ends, it's apparently cheesy and we can make fun of it quite easily.

Am I the only one who thought FFX's ending was great?
Maybe I'm a fanboy. *busts into Black Mages style song* _________________

The ending, as in what happens after all the battles are done, is great, yes. The part between Braska's Final Aeon and that ending, though, is completely bizarre.
But it bears mentioning that BFA and Trance Kuja are both completely awesome.
Hey, here's a thought: make them all one package! Make it so that you play through the last five minutes of every FF game from 1 to 10 in order! It would be epic.
FF1: Chaos randomly casts CUR4 and laughs at you.
FF2: Your characters have a ton of awesome-sounding spells like Ultima 10 that do absolutely nothing! But the character with the Blood Sword rapes the Emperor.
FF3: Your party consists of two Ninjas and two Sages (NES-style, plzthx). Your battle strategy consists of throwing shurikens and casting Cure-4.
FF4: Okay, the battle would be pretty standard, but it's Zeromus, great-granddaddy of Necron. The joke writes itself here, too.
FF5: Exdeath is a tree! You can't beat this. Give all the characters stupid broken abilities like GP Toss, X-Fight, X-Magic, X-cetera.
FF6: dancing maaaaad~~ You can steal a Ragnarok from one of the enemies, but you can't use it. Afterwards, a two-minute montage of the game's 14 characters.
FF7: Expertly done.
FF8: I can't think of any way to do this well, honestly. Maybe you could emphasize the ridiculousness of the battle by making it eight phases long rather than four.
FF9: NECRON
FF10: Yu Yevon ftw
and as a special bonus
FF11: You're on a giant map with a ton of NPCs that rattle off incomprehensible MMO jargon. There's no obvious way to do anything that might be remotely fun and everything costs a billion times more than what you have. You can't leave, fight, or do anything except quit. If you stay in this area for more than a couple of minutes, you're asked to pay to keep playing. _________________

Oh. That. The intentionally easy final boss. _________________

Oh, and let's not forget the ending to FFXII. It was rediculous and the boss was a joke. Worst part of that game was the final final boss. _________________ ---------------Projects----

Maybe you could emphasize the ridiculousness of the battle by making it eight phases long rather than four. | And do the exact same thing with FF7 by making Limit Breaks spammable, because they were in FF8. As well as providing invincibility items. _________________

Shh! I haven't beat 12 yet! I'm sidequesting right now. But it's to be expected that your last boss will be cake if you've gone through all of the ultimate optional enemies already. For that matter, maybe beating those enemies should unlock a different, more powerful last boss. That would rock.
NP, that's probably the perfect way to do FF8 -- make the player spam Renzokuken. But it should also scramble your party before the battle, forcing you to try to fight with the characters you've completely unequipped. In fact, screw random -- the game intentionally picks the worst characters. _________________

And what simple and easy way would we set up the Trance system in FF9? Cause that's gonna be the next one that I do, then prolly 12. I'd be up for being a graphics whore to anyone who would help me finish this thing though.
It'd actually prolly be really cool for me to do the graphics for this project, cause it would keep a consistent look. _________________ ---------------Projects----

Hmmm... A contest to see who can parody a Final Fantasy game the best? This is amazing, I was just doing it cause I thought it was funny to exploit how lame some of the FF7 characters were (same when I did Kingdom Hearts OHR). But if we're doing this and claiming games, I got dibs on Final Fantasy 9 for sure. _________________ ---------------Projects----
