1. Nope, sorry.. dont really have any prizes to offer, just honours...
2. Nope, how many rounds you participate in is up to you.
3. Each round will have a new panel of judges (slots for the first round are still open, btw) and will be judged based on gameplay, graphics, presentation, and most importantly, how well it ties in with the given subject of that round. And from that, they will decide which game will be the victor of the round. (Basically a review, really, so it's nothing new or elaborate) |

When you say "clock strikes 12", whose clock do you mean?
Won't time zone differences contribute any difficulties towards this type of thing? |

Though technically I think it'd be EDT. |

Right, I'm thoroughly confused now.
Just checking: Am I posting this post at 11:37pm 22nd EST? It'll be nice to not lose most of a day due to school on monday for once.
So, further details on the judging (which seems really vague) - do the judges collaborate to agree on a winner for the round, or are they just going to rate each game? Also, can someone judge more than one round? _________________ "It is so great it is insanely great." |

Eastern Standard Time you might be. But because of Daylight Savings (damn farmers!), it shows up as 10:37p (but wait, spring forward, wouldn't it be 9:37p EST?). This is why, if Fenix is actually on the North American East Coast like me, it'll more likely be Eastern Daylight Time rather than EST. Otherwise, who knows!
EDIT: okay, i see what the deal is.
Yes, it was 11:37p here when you posted that. I just hadn't realized CP doesn't account for Daylight Savings, so all my times are an hour off, so my time's still showing 10:37p because it's on EST instead of EDT. |

(returning after several years, finally having free time)
Yay! 48-hour contest!
Do we have to sign up in any way? So that you can email us a game file? That's the way we did it back in the day.
Or is there some sort of honor system? _________________ A sheep doesn't get to do anything! |

I'm pretty sure it looks like we're going by the "I-don't-know-what-the-theme-is,-so-I-won't-bother-to-do-anything-until-I'm-told-what-to-do" system.
On a side note, Welcome Back, Mysterious Olbie. |

Yeah, the signing up was kinda pointless. People signed up and a lot of them didnt show, and most of the contestants asked to join after i posted the theme. So i figured canning that would be for the best.
And most people are just gonna post their game on the CP list anyways, so sending isn't necessary, although i'll need people to post a link or something to a thread that i'll make. |

Due to work, I won't have the full available 48 hours for this contest like I used to have... So, unless I can get a partner who's fairly confident in their ohr-ing to help pick up the slack then I'll be rushing to make an entry in like 7 hours, haha. _________________ ---------------Projects----

Oh... also...
Are we expected to use the most recent nightly-build of custom? If it's optional, do we have to include the relevant game file when we post our game?
Or is everyone just going to use the last stable version? _________________ A sheep doesn't get to do anything! |

| It's pretty tough to keep track of all versions that people are using, so i'd recommend entrants include the game.exe regardless of which build they're using |
