So far I've only seen people over-reacting from the presence of the police officer. I suppose if we had a Official Castle Paradox Chef, some people would start to suspect the food was poisoned. Aside from these two posts, I've seen nothing bad or alarming out of it.

There's nothing really bad about someone "Policing" the forums. I'm actually happy about that, because from the looks of things since about mid-2005 no one with admin or mod status (except you) has done ANYTHING to keep the stupid down.
What I'm objecting to is this ridiculous premise for it. Seriously, what is the point? Why can't whoever the Security Officer REALLY is post something like "Hey guys, IM appointed me as a general admin, it's my job to make sure you don't shit everything up. Don't be surprised if more threads are locked or deleted from now on!"

Your idea of heaven is an internet site where the mods have a sense of humor? I don't know what your religion is, but I honestly can't see how that could constitute any sort of reward for living a good life.
