In the midst of all these updates I'm still having 2 big problems with custom and game.

When I fullsize the colors still go negative.

I still get stuck notes in the newest nightly (simply called game).

The version that I never get stuck notes on is game-fb2-sdl3.exe (I may or may not be the one who slapped that 3 on the end, I'm not sure...)

What would be ideal for me at the time would be if Game and Custom were the size the SmoothGame.exe program was (twice the size of the double size...for times the size of 320*200...right?)

Well anyway if the screen were big enough so I wouldn't have to resize it, I could bypass my ongoing color issue forever. And if the sound type was Fb2-Sdl, I'd be set for sound.

But as for now I can't really do anything with the screen minimized (especially graphics work) and maximized my eyes bleed.

Actually, the smoothed backend runs at 3 times zoom by default, and the other backends at 2 times zoom by default.

You can set the zoom level with a command line switch:
game -z 3 gamename.rpg
custom -z 3 gamename.rpg

Supported zooms are 1x, 2x and 3x. A note: the smooth backend uses a different smoothing algorithm when at 2x and 3x zoom levels.

I use FB2 SDL. It gives me the least problems, but yes on occasion it goes nuts. That File you provided can't maximize...it's greyed out...and it runs really slow. Like the walking is really blocky..might wanna fix that.

TMC I have no idea how to use command lines. I but the game -z 3 gamename.rpg for my RPG's name and nothing really happened...

Instead of maximize, try ALT+ENTER to switch to full screen in the sdl-sdl version.

And yes, the sdl-sdl version is still pretty slow. It still needs work. I think I might actually doing double-buffering incorrectly in it.

I would also love to get a working Freebasic 0.17cvs build for you to try, in case newer versions of Freebasic's graphics library fix the problem-- but that will take some work.
