Yes, we could all learn a thing or two from our friend TwinHamster. An apology can solve any problem. Isn't that right?

In that vein, I'd just like to say I'm sorry to all the idiots I've offended over the years and I promise to make my insults on a higher plane intellectually in the future so as to avoid offending the wit-challenged.

I don't exactly want to think up a whole argument for them, but if I had to nominate anyone else for Moderatorship (this time around), I'd say Komera's fairly level headed, and her avatar contest on the Art Forum has certainly generated significant interest.

Camdog's bookclub has likewise generated a lot of interest, he's certainly been around for awhile, and the only bad thing I could say about him would be that he might disappear again tommorow.

Jabber wouldn't be half-bad.

Bena's a pretty smart guy who is mature and responsible enough to be a moderator, and you guys are blowing his comment about Lucier WAY out of proportion. He knows a lot about game design, he's made some pretty good posts, and he's friendly.

I don't think jabber is nearly around enough or well known to be a mod (If he's around, I hardly notice him), and if Bena were to become a mod, you know there are going to be certain people who will not be happy at all with his position, and with the reactions to his comment towards Lucier, you can be sure he'll make another similar comment and another similar reaction will result.

The best mod would be someone who doesn't have any real negative energy directed towards them. I doubt many here have unhappy feelings towards people like Inferior Minion, Friend and Fenrir-Lunaris.

I personally have never really liked Orchy. It's really hard to say what I'd like to say without breaking the "No flaming/being abusive" rule for the election, but I always felt when he was moderating the Art Forum that if your drawing wasn't done in an Anime/Manga style, and was even at all trying to be funny, that he wasn't going to give it a chance.

Phc, I said the mentality of popularity has gotten us into trouble before. I know the original wording isn't precise, but this is what I meant.
