Hey, as long as the avatar doesn't cross the "disgusting" (and not in the appearance sense) line, it's fine. It's Eggie's choice as to what he wants for his avatar, and if it bothers you, then ignore Eggie's posts. Voila, no avatar. Don't go complaining about it unless it's like, something ripped from Gopher Ball Z or if it's something that may religiously offend you.

I made mine in iDraw, and resized in Pixia. Besides, most of the graphics in Realmsoft's games are made in MSPaint. So COMPLAIN about it!

fine, MS paint sucks, your avatars don't. Happy?

To show my gratitude, I uploaded an avatar that was drawn in MS paint.
I just was really frustrated with the stupid palette management system.
I shouldn't have taken my frustration on your Ms paint drawn graphics

Umm...

This probably won't help, but I don't use *.pcx. All I use is *.BMP, *.GIF, and *.JPG.

Huh. Never heard of .pcx. None of my art programs take it either... sure it isn't a program-specific file type?

I've heard of .pcx, but I've never seen it used for anything. Why would you use it? Use .gif or .jpg (or even .png) instead.

My avatar is fine. I mean, I wouldn't really want to have Squall Leonhart or some other RPG character as my avatar because I don't want to just copy. I want to be creative, or funny.

OHR Sucks. Making games is a nerd thing to do. First of all u cant make a game that is even close to good. Graphics suck u are limited 2 what u can do. Let me tell u that this is a stupid ass place to belong to. U should play real games good ones. People waste their time. The game amoun to shit.

okay... somebody has a serious grudge against the ohr and needs HELP!
Professional HELP! Community exile/renegade aside, here's what I know
about .pcx:

I use .pcx for pictures in my fighting game. The editor I use also runs on
mac. Perhaps it's a mac format?

I have a libary of all of the animations (frame by frame) in .pcx format.
The characters are completely OS sterotype. Bill gates uses his "windowscrash" and Xblock" attacks. Anybody want them? Huh?

The graphics are ripped, but hey! It could be worse, it could be MS paint!
Okay i'll lay off the whole anti-microsoft thing.... for now. Ha ha ha!

Some games developers use .pcx purely on the basis that nobody else uses
it. That and the fact that it is one of the lowest sized formats to support
transparency.

Btw, people shouldn't take any messages on this forum TOO seriously.
Unless of course they've got an itchy caps lock finger, but generally
most of the rants are harmless ohr related stuff.
