Whenever I plotscript, which isn't very often due to my problem, I encounter an epic error concerning the locating of Hspeak.exe. Whenever I compile my work of rot, the program, Hssed, demands that I locate Hspeak. I do so, and when I compile, it asks me again. Does anyone know of a solution to this sinister problem?

Also, say I can't fix the problem above. So I drag my script into Hspeak.exe in the folder browser. It works, but if there is an error, the DOS window closes so fast I cannot see where I went wrong. Does anyone know of a way to prevent the DOS window from closing unless I click a button or such?

Please...

For the second one, right click on hspeak, then choose properties, program tab, and uncheck the box that says "close on exit."

Sorry, there's no solution. I just compile by drag dropping or with a batch file, follow Iblis' guide.

It's some sort of weird thing with HSSed and XP. For instance, when I moved from Win95 to XP, I copied all my OhR stuff to a CD, and it didn't give the error. however, when I had to go re-download everything, it gave me that error. and now on my home computer, it does not give the error, but the one I am on now does.

I had the same problem on Windows 98, but since I put in the new hard drive with Second Edition, I haven't had the same problem. Pretty much all you can do is just drag and drop it, and from then on it usually compiles (For that particular file, at leasT)

Thanks, Iblis. It works, just like viagra!

Jabber: I run on Windows XP, which leads to ultimately getting pawned.

I don't like using Hssed for that reason. It's a shame no one else is creating a replacement... *forshadowing*
