What the heck happened with the choice boxes?

Am I just imagining things, or was there once a way to make the choice textboxes link into two different boxes? All I'm getting now, no matter what I try, is one of the choices leads to the correct box, and the other leads to nothing whatsoever.

Many thanks for quick and simple resolution to my ridiculously newbieish mistake (I guess I'm still a bit rusty after not using OHR for over a year).
