Haven't posted in a long while, so I figured I'd dump some semi-recent projects here.

Tried out linoleum blocks:
Original black print:

Red print:

Black print that turned out badly, so I attacked it with colored pencils:

Doggies:
Large dog:

Six small dogs:

Inking experiment:
((I know that the anatomy, preportions and whatnot are terrible on these, but it was my first time inking with a brush and I'm proud of it, durnit!))
Zoomed out:

Practicing stipple:

Front side of paper:

Well, I'd appreciate correct spelling...

First three: The design is eye catching. Definitely. The third one is the most so because of the variety in color that can be seen. Ok...

The doggies: Woof? This is most abstract, and don't get me wrong, that is all fine and dandy. The six together remind me of some old work that Andy Warhol did. Huzzah *sarcastically twirls his finger in the air*. I like the personification you've employed in them too. For a dog, they sure have an interesting complexion and expression.

The inking picture: The big one is a little too blurry and it ruins the overall effectiveness of the illustration for me. The one I can most clearly see is great, though. The concept is pretty open to the imagination and the back ground with the strange bird is intriguing. The bird's face is very skillfully done and looks almost alive. The cat in front and off to the side is a tad random, but meh. This is quite the surreal illustration.

Stippling: Wow... Not half bad. Better than me, but then I've never ever tried stippling before. Good fade (I forgot the art term for it, so sue me). The sphere at the top in the first illustration is too solid, if you ask me. The speckles are too thick where they should be showing the light area. Maybe the Internet of evils ruined the picture... EVIL INTERNET!

The project that you actually DID :p
This one is great. With the close up- the first duplicate you've presented which I find useful- I can see you applied that stippling you worked on... And I love it. The glass vase could have had a little more touching up, I think. More stippling? Make it more like glass and less like air with an outline. It may just be a smidge TOO transparent. Call me picky. Nice to meet you. *fakes you out*

Maybe this was a little big for an art dump? Why I am exhausted after critiquing all of it, then?..

Forgot to mention: Where the heck were you that could possibly be more important that ME?! (Welcome back)

Take some pride in your art. Take nice pictures and cut them out in Paint/photoshop and fix up the borders - Then convert them to .jpg or something and place them up... Its really not nice looking at scewered photo's taken on your kitchen floor...

Otherwise - They look fine... last one is my favorite.

Leroy-- Thank you for the comments! I'm sorry they're so blurry, none of them would fit into my scanner, and my digital camera is an old peice of crap. The reason that some of the dots on the stipple work are huger than the others is because I was using The Sharpie of Extreme Evilness for the majority of it.

Kahn-- Sorry about that. Oookay... When I had loaded them onto my computer(which is cruddier than the camera.. it barely runs the OHR and sometimes freezes when there's nothing running and I try to move the mouse), I was sick of it freezing/crashing every time I did something, so I
just wanted to get it over and done with. I'll crop them as soon as possible.. Oookay...
