Yeah, but you shouldn't comment on a game like you KNOW it if you haven't even LOOKED at it, much less PLAYED it. That's just...common sense. _________________ But enough talk, have at you! |

(still horribly off topic, but you know what... i don't give a (cencored))
gilbert: aw... that just made my day. thanks for that long rant about me and my game. i'm so happy now. i'd offer to have your child if i wasn't having alpha's.
fenrir: i'm certainly glad you didn't say i was a heroist, because i don't consider myself one (i remember someone else made that mistake once). and i have played ffh, although i didn't try it until long after the majority of cp did. i was actually surprised to hear that people were asking you for game help because i didn't have any problem finding what to do next (of course it probably helps that i'm also well versed with ff1). but i think i've said i've played it before (i'm sure i did, i did say once before i was tickled pink to see the norse names).
(okay, now i'm back on topic)
i haven't yet seen a villan in any ohr game that i really liked. partially because the general idea of villans is not to like them (i mean stereotypically... nobody bite me for this statement!), and partially because most ohr villans are simply "there". i have the same love of zemus/zeromus, who i don't care either way for. i didn't hear about him until about two hours before he showed up, and didn't see him until a minute and a half before the fight with him. on the other hand, i didn't care for sephiroth either and he shows up much more frequently... oh well.
the only villan i remotely care about so far is one of the villans out of w:p1 30-31%* (name removed for spoiler reasons, even though you guys wouldn't know who he/she/it is), and that only because i know all about him/her/it.
* when i passed the file to rinku, it was at 30%, his signature says the file is at 31% _________________ LJ.Art

Well think of villains in OHR games this way, what's the most common challenge in OHR games? TEDIUM. Can you possibly finish this game? Will the space bar masher battles convince you to never see the quest through to the end? Whoever the villainous character is in the game, he'll succeed if you don't stop him, right? What is the primary thing that stops you from killing the last boss of a bad OHR game?
POOR GAME DESIGN. That is the greatest villain throughout OHR history. Almost always there to thwart your best most sincere efforts. _________________ BANDIT REVOLVER, DOWNLOAD IT OR ELSE.

Tugro and Gokiri from the Ziguru gang...in my LOZ game. I know the game was bad but I really enjoyed drawing Tugro's hair and Gokri's 6 foot sword. _________________ Indy OHR! and National OHR Month Contest going on now!

THAT'S IT, GILBERT ARON SMITH! YOU HAVE GONE UNHINDERED LONG ENOUGH! I AM SORRY THAT I AM THE ONE TO DO THIS, BUT THIS IS YOUR OFFICIAL WARNING FROM THE NICENESS PATROL!
Telling a newbie to jump off a bridge is a TERRIBLE HORRIBLE thing to do. Do you know that's 15 seconds of fear and regret, followed by a moment of excruciating agony, and up to 5 minutes of fear, pain, and regret whilst drowning? Oh no mister, we're not letting you get away with suggesting a good 10 minutes of torture on a poor newbie. A better suggestion is gas: Fast and painless, and if you use the right gas, you're so bombed out of your mind you don't even realize what you've done. Safe, easy, fun, and effective for everyone. Please clean up your act, and suggest nicer means of euthanasia, lest you get a visit from the firemen.
THIS HAS BEEN YOUR OFFICIAL NICENESS PATROL WARNING. |
