um, wasn't wingedmene a winged HERO????? like, a MAIN HERO?... but you could consider him a villain because he wasn't human and all...

well, technically "wingedmene: part one" ("w:p1" for short)

i am following the example of charles dickens by naming the full project after the main protagonist (oliver twist, david copperfield, etc...), which is probably a stupid idea since my favorite novel by him is great expectations.

"Human = Not Villain" is a load of garbage. The more memorable OHR villains are human (or at least mostly human), so perhaps there's some sort of unwritten code among OHR programmers that implies our villains must be in some fashion human (see above posts for evidence in this case).

And while I've never played Wingedmene, I at least know OF it. The same case can be made with Rinku (and a good deal of the heroists), who never played FFH. Actually that'd make a very interesting thread to start up - see which community members have played what games.

The basic point is that there are no prerequisite games that our users definately play before making their own. Actually, most of us started off by playing one game, then learning there were more made with the engine. This list more often than not includes Wandering Hamster, Attack of the Saiyajins, FFH (curse you!), Hentai Quest, and perhaps Arfenhouse. Hm, I think I just classified all modern OHR games from those 5 - Traditional RPG, Newbie Game, Fangame, Jokegame, Parody. Interesting.
