Hey I got a pretty good contest if anyone's interested:

Who can make the best geezer in their RPG? Call it geezer, or old man or what ever. Who can design the oldest, best looking one? If your interested then reply to this. Take a screenshot wilth your geezer in it.
I will also enter my geezer, but I won't count him against anyone.

Oddly enough I was just drawing some old man walkabouts this morning O_o. They're not really contest material though.

On a side note (well, it has to do with the poll), I noticed a bunch of Metallica references in Deadly Illusions. Lars... Hetfield... pretty cool. I think I'll do something like that. Maybe name a city "Maynard" (that's the vocalist from Tool, for those of you who don't know).

To Iblis and sephyroth: You can send in your Geezer pics by e-mail. I thinks that's the best way to do it. You have the choice of choosing whether it be battle or walkabout. Be creative if you want to participate, make your geezer look like a geezer with beard and all. If you need inspiration, check Rahmuh from FFVI.

To Iblis: Since you've tried Deadly Illusion you could look at Hex, Hamlin, or Jethro as old Geezer examples. They aren't my best effort so I'm hoping someone can do better.

And last: I'll change the poll already!

Eh... and speaking of that, don't do a Metallica RPG. It's a music band. What the hell are they going to do RPG-wise? Fight hecklers at a concert? Just because you like something doesn't mean it would make a good RPG... I mean, I like the color orange. Doesn't mean I can base a (good) RPG around it.

First off, I'm not really interested in the contest. All the effort of screenshotting and sending doesn't seem worth the trouble.

Also, yes, a Metallica RPG would make virtually no sense. Please don't do it.

Calm down folks. I didn't think you would take the poll so seriously, it was just a joke. I never had any intention of actually making an RPG about the band themselves, they wouldn't want it that way. They prefer racing games anyways.

Ignore the poll, I was just simply interested in the general thought of a Metallica RPG. I too, don't think I would work out good. Although I am using the names from the band's history as some people that are in Deadly Illusions, I'm not actually putting "Metallica" as a whole in my game.

Ok, you really shouldn't change the questions of a poll after people have voted on it, since the votes stay in the same slots.

Now people will think 3 of us wanted a metallica rpg O_o.
